2lbs off for me this week. Hooray! It's been really hard going though - on to day 3 of the detox and what I wouldn't give for a Diet Coke and some chocolate

3 hours exercise for me so far this week.

Svenena, good luck with your goals for this year, and good luck with the internet dating when you start!! A stone and a half is still great :D

And good luck to everyone else, here's to a great January!

I just missed your post when I did the chart - I've updated the chart but will put your exercise into next weeks if that's ok with you.

Well done on SOTW Rubyslippers :T

Has anyone come across this: What's the right diet for you?

There is a corresponding Horizon mini-series, which I haven't seen yet but have started to recorded. Started last night, on again tonight and tomorrow.

Of course, the right diet for you has to be whatever works. When I did the test, it came out at 56% Constant Craver, and recommended intermittent dieting (aka intermittent fasting/5:2 diet). 56% doesn't seem like a very high proportion, but I don't have anything to compare it to. Anyway, it has prompted me to give intermittent fasting a bit of another go, so I'm fasting today. Getting hungry now. I'm going to have a cup of tea for lunch :o
  • -0.5lbs for me this week. Not much to show for a week of dieting and dedicated gym going :-(

I didn't think I'd got very far though, didn't 'feel' like I'd lost any weight, if you know what I mean. I have so much going on at the moment - my aunty is dying of cancer, my friend is going through chemo, and we're about to start IVF - and I'm not sure how to (metaphorically!) carry all that weight and feel good about myself.

7 hours exercise this week as well for me :-)
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j

Half a pound is still a loss, and to be congratulated. Sounds like you're going through a tough time at the moment, so well done for not giving up when the going is tough. Good luck with the IVF too; I'll cross my fingers and toes you're successful.

It's -4.2 for me this week - yesterday's fast obviously kickstarted things. Fasting again today, as apparently it's better to do two days in a row, although I don't intend to do so every week. I'll probably rebound next week and have a gain

Fred, could you please adjust my total loss to 27.2, which is from last year's starting point, and accounts for the weight I regained in the second half of last year.
  • Can you help can't seem to alter the colour keep coming up words when I pick from drop down menu so sorry couldn't put my loss of -1.4lbs in.
