P.S. Please could somebody confirm that 31st December is the last weight recording day before the new challenges begin again?

Yes the next chart will be Christmas Eve and the final one for the year will be on 31st Dec (New Years Eve). If you don't want to weigh/post a result on either of those weeks I will include you as a STS.

It's a difficult time of year for many, however don't worry too much about it - you can start with a clean slate in January and start again - you've done so well so don't punish yourself for having a break.

No losses this week so no SoTW, good news is no gainers this week either.

Hi guys. I'd love to join this thread please. I've been battling with my weight for many years. Earlier this year I lost 1.5 stone on the Dukan diet... and have already put it all back on (and more!). I signed up to WW yesterday, and my start weight is 13 stone 5 lbs. My first goal is 12st 10 but in the long term, I'd love to get down to 11st.

I know it's not a great time to start- so close to Xmas, but I hope you'll have me :)

fredsnail - Thanks for replying to my query. I will see how I feel about weighing or not. Yes, I expect it is a difficult time for many. Somebody else has said to me something similar that there will be another year(s) even if this year hasn't gone how you would hope. Thanks for saying that you think I have "done so well". It's not always in the forefront of my mind.

Samiszel - Hi, of course we will have you! Good luck with your goals.

You have done well - it's not always easy to remember how far or how well we've all done from where we first started, it's very easy to remember how things haven't gone our way or if we have injuries or bad luck or other important things that take priority over everything and if we've not achieved we feel that we've failed when really we've made a good deal of progress.

  • Just been to weigh-in and it's a 5.5 lb loss for me this week :) It's my first week though, and I know some/a lot of that will be water loss. But it's a great start just before Christmas.

I struggle with my weight every year, I exercise but I love my food to much, so not gaining but not losing. I really need to re-think my food intake as its the most important thing!

Well done durham_mim and Samisze :j:j

Merry Christmas everyone - have a good as one as possible, I know it's a difficult time for some but please try to take care of yourselves and find something enjoyable - even if it's a walk outside in the dry.
  • Hi everyone

STS for me again. I think with all the rushing around for Christmas, plus all the goodies on offer, weight loss isn't going to happen at the moment! I've done loads of walking (40 miles this week, 35 the previous one) but not much cardio (gym, running) or any weights. How frustrating.

Anyway, I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and thank you all for your support this year. Hope you all have a great time
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j
