Weigh in this morning and STS for me this week - focusing on positives though, such as didn't run screaming to the biscuit barrel in despair as learning it's just a blip.
Have continued dumbbell routine, now 40 mins every other day as find that easier to fit in. The double weights seem enough for arms, but think I still need to increase it for the leg exercises, will tweak again on Monday. Also managed speedy 5 mile round trip to library on my bike yesterday, did much faster pace that left me breathless and feeling like I'd had a workout. Have an Indian meal with friends this evening, but have elected to drive so I can't drink, and will pare back on calories today as well as planning wiser choices tonight- much easier when I haven't had a few glasses of wine.....
Have a good weekend everyone.#21 Save £12k in 2025 £16977.35/£20000

I didn't manage to get to weigh-in this week as I had to take my daughter to a doctor's appointment. I'll be back next week though. I think I was ok this week - well I didn't put on so that's ok in my book lol
My husband said that he'd be happy if I stayed the way I am now, even if I didn't lose any more weight, as long as I didn't go back to the way I was before lol But i'm definitely not done yet. I still have a long way to go and it might be slower but im going to keep chipping away at it.
He's been home for about 5 weeks and everything's gone a bit belly up since hes been home. I thought it would be easier when he's here as there's someone to be accountable to (ie he can see me when I go into the fride or cupboard lol ) but for some reason it's been harder this time. Yes, i'll blame him, it hasn't been my fault at all.0 -
+3lb since last time.0

Jackieb, blaming DH always a good option - mine gets the fault for most things in this house lol! Hopefully you're back on track soon, your weight loss to date is really impressive.
White Rose, do you know why you're gaining? I always think I'm being good, but when I relax just a little my weight loss stops dead. Have only been back at it for a month but can already see myself slipping back into bad habits. I didn't want to join a club but find that being "accountable" to my slimming buddy - we check in every Saturday - really helps. Sure you've got it covered and you'll be back on track again soon.
Have continued with dumbbells every other day, upper and lower body for around 40 mins in total. Also have 10 min walk to add today, not much but every little helps.#21 Save £12k in 2025 £16977.35/£20000

Hello,
- 4lb since last week which was unexpected. Calories per day were slightly more although exercise was increased through doing more indoor biking. Also, did outdoor biking and quick gardening jobs. Been out today again on the bicycle and it seemed a little frosty and cold. This has therefore reminded me how this challenge will become tough when outdoor cycling may become either impossible or reduced.0 -
Here's this weeks chart:

Well done everyone taking part. I will keep logging all exercise posted until the 31st on this challenge. Next month the challenge is to travel as far as you can by any means powered by yourself - walking, rowing, swimming, cycling etc.

And I still have that over-riding laziness to not go and exercise when I really, really should. The next challenge seems like an exceptionally easy one to record so I'll definitely join in on that.0 -
fredsnail - Thanks for the charts and "congrats".
Good luck everyone for November!0 -
-1lb for me this week - slow and steady but glad the trend is downwards at least. Can I join the sparklers please, and have done 13 miles on my bike this morning so off to a good start. Thanks Fredsnail.#21 Save £12k in 2025 £16977.35/£20000
