Sorry not to have reported any weight or exercise Fred. Really struggling at the minute. Need a serious kick up the ***. I find it so strange that at times I can be so motivated and focused and at other times I just can't do it!!

Decided to bow out again for a while until I get myself in the right frame of mind. Thanks for all of your support and hard work x
  • So, weighed in after a week of exercise and more mindful eating and am+1lb. Obviously not eating mindfully enough...... Onwards and upwards, hoping for a loss next week.

  • STS for me this week. It's been a good one on the exercise front - 39 miles in total with a few gym trips as well - but perhaps the night out at a work leaving do on Friday didn't do me any favours!!

Jess, I hope you find your motivation again very soon, we all know how difficult it can be to stay on track.
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j

STS since last Wednesday and 1 hour and 30 minutes (gardening) exercise please Fredsnail.

Have done other exercise like cycling and two walks. One was fairly short (foraging) and the other maybe three miles (appointment), quite hard as heavy shopping to carry on the way back. Calories consumed however higher than the week before.

Congrats to Jackieb our SoTW this week and our SoTM this month.

Well done to all our STSers and commiserations to our gainers - don't give up and try to find something positive in your weightloss journey - it's all too easy to find fault for things that haven't worked. :T

If anyone wants to join the 5lb challenge for next month please post below.

Here's the chart for our team challenge this month - US (for the US open) v China (for the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships).

Next months challenge is Wine v Chocolate

If you wish to join please post which team you wish to join.

Here's this weeks Iron Man chart:

I will continue to log all exercise posted until the 1st October and post the final chart next week.

Next months challenge is a trip to the races - Ascot is holding the Champions horse race on 18th October so the distance from London to Ascot is 31 miles or 1 hour. You challenge is to complete 31 miles in a month, or your own multiple of 1 hour for a time challenge.

Please post below if you wish to join in.

For the exercise challenge, a final 2 hours and 17 minutes please fredsnail.

Back tomorrow with the weight reading.

P.S. Just for info - total monthly exercise will therefore represent just gardening time.
  • Lost the 1lb I'd gained last week, yippee, so -1lb this week. Back to start weight but at least going in the right direction this week lol! Can I be on the Wine team please and would also like to do the Ascot challenge of 31 miles.
