  • Hi all,

Can I join you please? Want to lose about 2 stone, can't seem to ever go more than two weeks doing it on my own without giving up, and resent handing oodles of cash over to yet another slimming club! Think a supportive forum like this is just what I need.......

Same here - very frustrating :(

Me too - fed up with it tbh and annoyed with myself for letting some of the weight slip back on. Tried WW and lost 3lb in a month!! At the minute just trying to eat a healthier diet and not think about my weight.

Fred, think I might also have to bow out of this months exercise challenge as I am having trouble with my knee - it just keeps 'giving way' on me. I will see how it goes and hopefully get some exercise in before the end of the month.

    - 2lb since last Wednesday and for the exercise challenge another 3 hours and 58 minutes (gardening). Ate slightly less calories, one short walk and more biking last week.

It's been difficult doing this challenge this year (weight increase and other health "issues") so also "fed up". The only time things were more "manageable" was when I was really worried about a leg injury! Just have continued to set other challenges in life to help matters so at least other things are getting done.

Hi Fredsnail. Just noticed on last weeks chart, my total weight loss is wrong. It says total lost is 74lb. It's actually 81lb :) x

Congrats to JackieB our SoTW this week.

Well done to all our STSers and there were no gainers this week :j

Keep moving forwards - and don't give up :T

Here's the chart for our team challenge this month - US (for the US open) v China (for the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships).

  • Hi everyone - sorry for the late post, but I was +1lb anyway, so my stats aren't looking that good!! OH had an accident last Wednesday - luckily nothing too serious and entirely his own fault - but getting the "there's been an accident and he's in hospital" phone call was (as you can imagine) rather traumatising. This week's been eat what and where you can and fit in bits of gym as and when I can whilst he recovers!

Please put me down for 36 miles, which is what my Fitbit tells me I walked last week :-)
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j
