Well done everyone who lost weight this month! Let's keep it up for Feb.

I'm in for the 5lb challenge again please :)
  • I'll be in the Rose team... the White Rose please!

I won't partake in the 5lb challenge, as I aim for around 10lb each month.

I'll "drive to Sochi", 44 hours over 28 days is just over 1.5 hours per day; I should achieve that give or take.

Oh, and for anyone interested in this idea, I squeeze my abs tightly for 25 seconds and release for 5 at my desk each hour, I do this 4 times for 2 minutes work. Over the 9 hours and 5 days this equates to 90 minutes of ab tightening.

I had my weigh-in this morning and i've met the 5lb challenge already! So, yes, 5lb off this week.

I wasn't feeling well for about 3 days. Nothing much, just a headcold, but it does make you feel miserable. I still ate but I drank a lot more water, and only water or white or green tea, hoping to flush the bug out, and ate more fruit, a lot more fruit than I usually do. That's the only thing I can think of why i've lost so much this week.

Please could I be a candle, join the 5lb challenge and fly to Sochi. Thx Fred.

Tiglath Thank you for your encouragement earlier this week. It wasn't just the anxiety of driving that was concerning me but I had to drive to my mums ( an hour each way) and I was concerned it would be too exhausting and use too much energy so I'd have non left to exercise. I am now starting to recover and am back on track in regards to exercise. OH, it turns out has a hairline fracture in his ankle, so not sure how ballroom dancing will go this week. We are still planning to go along but not sure how much we will achieve, especially as the only shoes he can wear are his trainers!

    No problem :)

I got my fitbit ultra from ebay as it was cheaper to get a new one shipped from the US than to buy it in this country. I don't think they make that model any more so you'll have to look what the new ones are like. Alternatively there maybe second hand fitbit ultra's on ebay from people who've upgraded to the newer models.

Usual caveats - make sure your seller has a good reputation and bid near the end of the auction as there's normally so many listed you'll have a good chance of winning one without bumping up the price too much. It might take a couple of weeks for you to win one but you will.

And it came within a week.:T

Can you pm me your starting weight so I can calculate the team % loss?

Sadly I'm still unable to send pms for some reason.

    Thanks
