    No problem :)

I got my fitbit ultra from ebay as it was cheaper to get a new one shipped from the US than to buy it in this country. I don't think they make that model any more so you'll have to look what the new ones are like. Alternatively there maybe second hand fitbit ultra's on ebay from people who've upgraded to the newer models.

Usual caveats - make sure your seller has a good reputation and bid near the end of the auction as there's normally so many listed you'll have a good chance of winning one without bumping up the price too much. It might take a couple of weeks for you to win one but you will.

And it came within a week.:T
Oh very helpful thanks. Is it easy enough to link into myfitnesspal? Sorry for all the questions!

  • Please put me down for the 5lb challenge, driving from London to Sochi and the roses team :)

Disappointed not to make the 5lb challenge last month - it all went pear shaped when I got poorly - but I now have 8 weeks to get into reasonable shape before going away with work for a few days

Thank you to everyone for the fitbit info - Fred, I will keep an eye on ebay to see if I can find anything promising, £70 on Amazon was a tad too expensive!
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j
  • Rubbish month for me too, having lost then gained. Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary so once that's over I'll be weighing in on Sunday and getting my head in the game, no more binging, no more yoyoing, or else I'll end up feeling fat and ugly at my niece and nephew's christenings this summer.

Can I be a candle, do 5lb, and return flight to sochi (12 hours?)

It's ok to link to myfitnesspal:

    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/help/faq/295-how-do-i-link-my-fitbit-account-with-my-myfitnesspal-account

You'll also have the option to allow fitbit to put though negative adjustments on myfitnesspal - ie if you've not been as active as you've stated in your profile.

Some people don't like it - eg if you exercise at night it'll put through a negative adjustment during the day, but then will correct itself after you've exercise.

I have a docking station plugged into the usb port on my laptop which does the syncing with my fitbit account (which in turn syncs with MFP) and it syncs automatically if you're within x feet of it and your laptop is on. I also click the fitbit onto the docking station approx once every 7 - 10 days to charge it.

I think the newer models may have bluetooth so not sure if they've got docking stations.

I like the version I've got as it clips to my bra and no one knows I've got it on - have had one for almost 2 years now with no problems - but have heard their customer service is excellent.

I think I paid around £45 for mine plus postage took it to just under £50.

There was a second hand fitbit ultra with all the bits for £10 earlier tonight.

Sorry I should say all the bits means the fitbit, the docking station and cables.

I wasn't feeling well for about 3 days. Nothing much, just a headcold, but it does make you feel miserable. I still ate but I drank a lot more water, and only water or white or green tea, hoping to flush the bug out, and ate more fruit, a lot more fruit than I usually do. That's the only thing I can think of why i've lost so much this week.

I have had 4 days of the bug that seems to be going around at the minute. 2lb off seemingly overnight, which I can only put down to being ill. Problem is, as soon as I feel better I am sure it will go on just as quickly. :(
