Not good for me this week. Plus 1 pound I'm afraid. Wouldn't mind I've been really good calories wise. Just not enough exercise. Still 11 pounds lost in 3 weeks aint bad.

I put on 1lb one week and i'd stuck to plan. I don't think I drank enough water. I upped it and the following week I lost 5lb. It is a bit disheartening when that happens, but you're doing great! Just keep going. :A
  • I am sadly reporting a STS This week, which I am gutted about as have been eating well and doing lots of exercise so was expecting a good loss....... Gutted :(

Anyway if I can add 120 mins Skating and 320 mins on treadmill to this months challenge Thank you :)

Speaking of which - does anyone have a Fitbit and if so, would you recommend it?
I brought my OH a fitbit for christmas as he wanted a pedometer and he loves it. Made him a little more interested in what exercise he is doing etc.... It will depend on what you want to track HTH

Well done on the huge loss Tiglath wish I could drop that much  Lower carbing is hard work so I take my hat off to you!

Just keep going everyone, Janurary is always a hard month :j

I've got a fitbit - it's great for monitoring how many calories, steps and flights of stairs you climb during the day. However if you do things like cycling, gym work or weights it doesn't measure it very well. It can also monitor your sleep. I've linked mine with my food diary on myfitnesspal so it syncs and tells me how many calories I've got left to eat each day.
  • I've lost -1lb this week. I know I didn't make the 5lb challenge but it's a loss still. I've done 5 hours and 32 minutes exercise this week.

Just signed up to the gym tonight so will hopefully have a better February :)

A STS for me this week. Not surprised really as I have had a few days of eating rubbish and not much exercise.

Well done to our losers and STSers this week and commiserations to our gainers - new month next week so time to look forward and see if there are changes you can make.

Well done to Jess444, Svenena, White Rose Tight ThaKnows and Beanie who've all achieved the 5lb challenge this month. If you want to take part in next months 5lb challenge please post below.

Well done to everyone taking part :T:T:T. I will continue to log any exercise upto the end of January in this challenge and post the final chart next week.

Next months challenge will be to travel to Sochi for the Winter Olympics. It takes 6 hours to fly from London to Sochi, or if you want a bigger challenge it takes 43hrs 50 mins to drive from London to Sochi. You can of course fly a couple or more times to Sochi if you want an inbetween challenge - or you can just log your times and see how far you go. If you want to join in this challenge please post below whether you're aiming to drive or fly and if you want a target time.

I'd like to join the 5lb monthly challenge please.

Thanks for doing this btw. I know it must be a hassle, but it's appreciated. :)

    Thanks for the chart Fred.

Well done to Tiglath and Stebiz :T:T

I will be in the Rose team, the 5lb challenge and will try for London to Sochi and back, so 12 hours.

Have come down with the 'lurgy' and feeling really rough so don't think there will be any more exercise for me before the end of Jan.
