I'm really struggling. I keep ruining my progress by binging. I just don't seem to be getting anywhere. For nearly 6 months I've been bouncing around between 13-10 and 14-7. Every time it gets down to the bottom of that, I binge, gain a couple of pounds then feel like crap and keep on eating til the top end when I suddenly feel huge and start dieting again. It means I've wasted ages and if I'd just been sensible I'd be approaching target now. Is anyone else a chronic binger?
I sympathise completely... I've been hovering between 12 stone 7 and 12 stone 3. At my lightest (since starting to lose weight) I was 11 stone 13.5 and I've been struggling to get back down to it. Last week me, my boss and another colleague have resolved to go on a daily walk in our lunch break, and I just got back from a very brisk walk with them. I'm also trying not to go back to my old ways... Thursday and Friday turn into chocolate day, Saturday I label 'treat' day after getting weighed and then I try and pick up the pieces on Monday.0 -
-3lbs this week
62lbs more to go...
I'm quite pleased with this even though at the start of the week I was hoping for about -6lbs since how its my first week.
I done 3 hours on the treadmill in 3 days but then locked a muscles in my thigh so couldnt do anymore. I ate more healthily too, not too much - i'm sure I can do much better; my eating is terrible!0 -
Well done minmac :j0

1 and a half hours dancing this afternoon and 45 min Aqua tonight.
Just making some soup before I go to bed, part of my master plan to eat a healthier lunch when in work!I ate more healthily too, not too much - i'm sure I can do much better; my eating is terrible!
I seem to be able to eat OK when at home and can resist most junk food when shopping. However, when I am out all common sense and will power goes out of the window. Yesterday when I was out shopping went for a coffee and of course had to have an enormous muffin with it!!0 -

Darkshines - that's a lot of walking, well done.
Great weight loss in 2 weeks Stebiz.
1 lb off for me this week please Fred.0 -
Same for me, Darkshines! Done loads of exercise - 13 1/2 hours in various forms - but am taking various medication to get me through tonsillitis, so have STS this week. LOL - how many calories in Sudafed?!
Also, the new scales do seem to weigh a good 2 to 3lb above other scales, but I have no idea how to check? I'm the same weight on them first thing today as I was on the ones at the gym about 9pm last night whilst wearing gym kit, trainers etc! Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j0 -
well done.
Great weight loss in 2 weeks Stebiz.
Thanks Jess. I have an added incentive. Before taking the challenge to lose weight I took a bet with William Hill at 50/1 x £50 that I would lose 5 stone by 24/12/2014.
So if I lose the remaining 58 pounds then I'll get £2,500.
:TAsk me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0
