Yes I was Beanie but only for 6 hours as had hospital appointment. One funny thing today one of the blokes at work wheeled me down the office on an office chair :)

Hospital this afternoon. Got told off by physio for not taking off the cast and exercising my ankle :( He's put Velcro straps on it now so I can easily take it off. He's given me one of those bands and an exercise sheet which I must do. My ankle was so swollen I thought my skin was going to rip when he moved it but the wounds are healing well.

Back at work tomorrow for half a day then team meal. Going in my chair tomorrow as struggling a bit with the frame and will have plenty of willing wheelchair pushers. Looking forward to it.

I'm forever getting told off by physios! I'm hypermobile so I'm always dislocating something or other... hope your exercises get easier though, you'll be up and about again before you know it hopefully :)

Full of admiration of how you are just getting on with it.... hope you are not exhausting yourself.

Do make yourself do the exercises, it will aid your recovery so much x

    Hello all

Had a lovely time at the team meal yesterday. Went for cocktails first then for a lovely meal. The restaurant changed our seating so we were on the level and close to disabled toilets. Got one of the younger fitter blokes missing his gym session to push me in the wheelchair :) He did a great job!

Mr SA had (don't faint!) done the ironing and hoovered upstairs when I got back.

I now feel I don't regret going back back to work. I've enjoyed the banter, everyone has been great, helping me with drinks, etc. We've not been that busy so have managed to catch up with things. Just doing 6 hours tomorrow then that's me done until 3 January.

Tonight I've managed to clean out the fridge in preparation for the Mr M delivery tomorrow, clean the kitchen, Hoover and mop. Getting quite good at hopping about on one leg :)

Have been doing my exercises and although ankle is still very swollen it's definitely getting easier to move it about. Have no qualms about taking the cast off now. Also leg very dry so have been rubbing moisturiser on it. Really strange thing is the part of my leg covered by cast is still tanned from holiday! Like it's been preserved.
