Not doing very well today. My wounds have been painful all day. Tried to do my exercises but so painful. Think it might be the cold. 2 weeks on Sunday I should be able to walk again but can't see it at the moment as ankle is so swollen and the skin is so tight feels like it might rip. Been rubbing Diprobase on my leg as so dry, makes it feel a bit better.
So fed up I can't do the last minute things I like to do this time of year. Should be glad I've broken up from work but just feel too sore at the moment. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow. I was ok yesterday.
Just waiting for Mr M big shop to arrive, not really got anything extra in as it always gets wasted and shops are only closed for a day. DS and family might visit on Boxing Day but I'm not laying on a spread this time as they didn't eat it last year.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Thanks all.
I've discovered the bliss that is a cold compress in our medicine box. Put it in the freezer for a bit then on my ankle, absolute relief! Been able to do some cleaning and present wrapping.
Yes Beanie the champers is chilling in the fridge and will be opened shortly
