Hi
I have filed a claim online against Lloyds and they have decided to refer it to the local County Court its a claim for less then £100!, What should be expected and whats the chances of winning? Will I have to pay any costs?
Cheers

Great thanks, will read it throughly. But I am still a bit confused as I think most of the charges happened before 2001 but continued with Intrum when they were transfered, can I still claim them back, if you see what I mean?0

The county courts are where the small claims hearings are held now. Their defence is just another way of delaying the inevitable, and also trying to intimidate claimants into giving up and going away. If you've prepared your claim properly and used the wording on these forums, your chances of winning are excellent. The banks people are unlikely to even turn up - the last thing they want is to have to say, in an open court, just how much (or how little) automatically administering a default does cost them. They usually pay up, albeit at the very last minute, to avoid this. Finally, even if you do lose, claimants in small claims courts do not get "done" for the defendant's costs. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

Wait until you hear from the bank/court/solicitor. You'll find links to the appropriate threads in the Reclaim Help Thread which is linked in my signature.
You'll find a post there about the timings for MCOL and what to expect.0 -

Thanks Edinburghlass. I've read quite a few of your posts and they have been helpful. (Not all 17.5 thousand of them though!!)
Keep up the good work but please try and get some sleep!0
