my ds1 is in year 6 and is starting his sats next week (he has been VERY moody this week) so good luck to everyone who also has children doing exams this and the following weeks:)
dd is off to nursery for 9 this morning so i am dragging ds1 to matalan to get him a new pair of school trousers as they are beyond repair.....he is a difficult fit so i need him with me and he is rejoycing at missing 30 mins of school lol:rotfl:

the usual housework will need doing this afternoon before collecting the kids.....its not raining here this morning but still looks bleak:(

Have a great time in Belfast, it's a lovely city.

morning all.
i am loving this weather. it just like winter. the rain is beating agasint the porch roof and sounding wonderful. i am so much more a winter person than summer.
i don't have a clue what is going on today. as i had to take my 22 month old son to hospital last night. his temp was nearly 40. and he went really stiff and was shaking. it was so scary. he still asleep now. but dozed up on calpol to keep temp down. it was so scary last night. horrible to see one of my children poorly.
but i do need to do some cooking today. my husbands lunch box looked very empty this morning. as i was supposed to cook last night. but was at hospital instead.
i've got some ironing to do. and need to changed beds and put wm on. then put laundry onto the airers to dry.0 -
Morning everyone
Nice and bright here today, but we have had lots of rain overnight - everything looks much greener
Went to work yesterday, and then found out I shouldn't be there, so dashed back home quick
Definitely working today though, so have got a chicken casserole in the SC for dinner, and will make some chicken tikka tortillas for lunch.
Hope everyone has a good day :grouphug:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning everyone.
Another busy day planned here, have to take sister to look at houses again as she still not found anywhere, wouldnt mind but took her yesterday too, and she phones up and if like well your not busy the kids are at school!! She has not a bit of os in her!!!ARHHHHHH Have so much i need to get done this week, as we are at a all day footy tournement on saturday, but if i dont tkae her she will have major face on!
So have already made pizza bases for tea, and made the sauce yesterday from loads of tomatoes someone gave me, need to get some washing on, will hopfully get that on the line before i have to go out to take sister.
Need to pop to shop and get some bits to complete meal plan for this week.
My ds1 starts his SATS next monday ( year 6) i will be glad when they are done, he has had so much booster homework he really is getting fed up of it, good luck to all those doing them this week.
Ds2 phoned me from airport yesterday sounded very excited, he is ment to be phoning me today to let me know he arrived ok, i will be fuming if i miss the call because of my sister!!
Anyway off for another coffee and tidy up, catch you all later.
Ps aimee- we have a 12ft trampoline and a 10ft pool in garden, yes takes up alot of room but well worth it, if i had to choose i would lose the trampoline as the pool is just the best fun ever, infact we are hoping to get a larger one next summer.

Hope you're little one's ok now. My friend went through the same thing a few weeks ago. Her son (who's 2 and a half) was fine the next day. He'd just over heated. Get some rest, you must be really shaken up.Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
