Hi mushypeas welcome to the lovely new slimmer you:D

Jo I bought this gorgeous brand new red cocktail dress off ebay not last week and it is truly lovely, I have bought other things especially for the kids and now the weight has come off have a few things in my favourites so yes go ahead , look at the feedback first, see how much they have sold and see if they are trustworthy or not, look at the pic, read the description and away you go, fill the wardrobes:D

Hello. Hope you don't mind me butting in. I'm thinking of joining an online weight loss group, tried essentialsweightloss but it was rubbish, now going to go with WW. Anyone else doing that?

My weight history: highest 15 st 8.5 lb, lowest 11 st 8lb, current 14 st :( As you can see I need to sort myself out!

BTW, this seems like a very supportive thread :)

    Hi MushyPeas

I'm doing WW online - it's fab! About 4 years ago I lost 2.5st using WW online - took me about 3 months (although I wasn't as strict as I could have been, else I'd have lost more than 2lbs a week). In between then and now, I had a baby (well, I say baby - she's 2 and a half now and I can't use the 'baby weight' excuse any more :rotfl: ), and regained a stone in weight, of which I've now lost around 6 lbs - so not too far to go now!!

WW online resources are great - although I seldom go on the community boards, as they have quite a bit of trouble with trolls (I don't think they have moderators like they do on here...).

This is a fantastic thread - and everyone is really supportive of each other.

Hope you get on OK with WW - I have found it to be the best way to lose weight, and I tried just about every diet I could lay my hands on! (and that's not to say its the best diet around, just the one that works best for me!). I'm on here most days, so let me know if I can help with anything.

    Cheers
    D.

    Very quickly.......

Honey - knock 'em dead tonight, I for one would be proud as punch to have you on my arm tonight, and if your OH doesnt say so, then give him a dig in the ribs from me! ;)

Victory, glad all ok, hope you enjoy the drifter when it releases itself from between your teeth :)

Katmad, how is the straw hunt going? found any yet? The excel spreadsheet looks great, I might have to give it a try myself, if you dont mind ;) Its working the calorific values of the meals that worries me

I took and passed my Cisco exam :j so celebrated by going down the gym. How I passed I dont know, was convinced it was too close to call. But I will have a nice glass of wine and a cuddle with Mrs Suggs later ;)

    Back later

Thanks Suggs, you charmer you! Just had my hair done, eyebrows waxed so feeling happier. Just my toenails and finger nails to do Hehe!
Well done on passing your exam - can I show my ignorance and ask what a Cisco exam is
Victory - you make me laugh, especially about not cleaning your teeth all day - I hope you are recovered now and still savouring the taste :D
Cath - you are best to stick with spirits - wine is very high in calories as is cider/beer. Stick with spirits and diet mixers, thats what I plan to do tonight ;) Only problem is that DD has to go to Irish dancing at 930 in the morning

    Hi Everyone

Glad to see that you're feeling better today Honey, have a good time tonight:j ....

....CathChat I'm not a pizza eater, but if you omit using toppings that have a high fat content such as cheese, chorizo etc and instead used chargrilled peppers, mushrooms etc and use a low fat mozzarella and parma ham should help. Be generous with herbs too....

....Victory - I think you can be excused the drifter, glad your OK even though you have a big brown smile now :rotfl: . I've never bought anything off ebay, not sure if I'd know how :o but I think I may give it a look at, DD has had some good buys from there and sold a lot of things too that would normally have been thrown out, she's quite happy with it but says caveat emptor....

....Glad you passed your exam Suggs, have a beer on me  ....
....joji Well done on your loss:T see, if you hadn't have forced yourself to go you would have missed that lovely feeling ;)....

....Mushypeas - Welcome, I'm sure you'll be successful together with the help of this thread, I find it shocking that WW let trolls get on their site it could so easily destroy some peoples willpower, you don't pay good money for that to happen. The users should complain to WW....

....Wedding anniversary today, no big deal....

Hope you all have a good weekend, and do lots of exciting things :D

    xxxx

Thing is, they do and nothing seems to be done about it - I was first an online member back in 2003, it wasn't so bad then, but has been steadily getting worse over the past four years. Weekends are the worst.

You can report a post, WW pull the post, and often don't do anything about the person posting - sometimes you might find someone has been 'removed', but because they don't ban based on the IP address, the user is free to return under a different name...

Another problem is that you can become a community member, for which you pay no fee, and this gives you access to the forums, so you've got nothing to lose if you're only there to cause trouble...

Quite honestly it's more supportive on this thread than I've ever found it 'over there' :)

    Have a lovely wedding anniversary!!
