Can I ask a quick question?? I can't seem to get on to the slimming world website and I wanted to know how many sins are in the porkinson sausages. They are made by kerry foods, but i don't think they are on the website so could someone use the sins calculator for me??

    per 100g they are 215 Kcals 14.7g protein 5.1g carbohydrate -sugars 1.6g
    fat 15.5g saturates 5.2g fibre 0.4g and sodium 0.6g.

They come in a 6 and a 10 pack size

    Thanks in advance
    Goal weight....lighter than when I started :D

Victory - The problem is that I keep changing my target. My original one to lose a stone has now been passed but I think another 4 lbs on my scales (which weigh heavier then SW or the doctors) will put me under the next stone marker on the scales so I think I'll aim for 4 or 5 lbs more.

Went shopping yesterday for clothes and at last everything I bought was a size 10 (except the shoes!!)
    About flipping time!!!

    Have a nice day everyone!

    Hi everyone,

Found this thread today, so will definitely be joining in. Good luck everyone, am off to go swimming shortly to burn a few cals. Also from tomorrow I am going to use the stairs (well going down to begin with!) from my offices. Every wiggle helps!

welcome mineallmine, if you want to join the latest challenge (5lb by 30th May) then tell Lois Lane and she can add you to our chart.

In the mean time tell us a little about yourself. Are you follwing a specific plan (WW/SW) or counting cals or are you just following your own plan?? This thread is chock-full of lovely ladies (and gentlemen) who are wise beyond their years about this weight loss lark, and are always willing to dish out advice (or a boot up the bum if necessary!!)

    Have fun swimming! :)

Hi katmad99 and thanks for the warm welcome. Advice and a boot up the bum are just what I need to succeed. My evil enemies are carbs, carbs, carbs. Also eating without realising - doesn't that say silly. I mean grazing, that sort of thing. Also I have a LOT of weight to lose and so can v.easily be disheartened/overwhelmed by that too. Thanks for the encouragement, I already feel accountable to you all!

I just cannot seam to stick to my promices that I am going to lose some weight.
I am approx 1 & 1/2 stones overweight and fed up with myself.
I have a fantastic Husband and family who love me.
My friends say I am pretty and do not look overweight.
I know (and love) slimming world inside and out but I JUST CANNOT SEEM TO STICK TO IT.
I manage a few days and something will pop up and the good intentions fly out of the window.
I am very active as I have 4 children and work 3 days a week.
I try to go to the gym or swim 2-3 times a week and walk with the dog most nights (if baby's are upto it cos they are only 3)
In a nut shell I have never been happier with my life and the only thing thats not fab is the weight.
So WHY carnt i get a grip?

    Anyone got any motivational tips?
I know joining a class and staying to group works for most people but my hours of work change weekly so I cannot commit to this. (And I have already tried it anyway)
    Skint!! But hey, L:heartpulsves FREE!!

There is the 20 steps to motivation/get you started on page 1 of this thread, you just have to ask yourself do you want that choc bar or do you want to loose the weight, be happier, healthier, more self confidence, calmer, the answer is that no biscuit is worth it, the weight coming off will make you feel a trillion times better....keep at it, you know it is worth it in the end, good luck xx
