Plucked up the courage to weigh myself this morning on my mums digital scales which are in line with the SW ones. After slacking totally for about 3 weeks (at least) I was pleased that I have gained only 1lb. I am using this weight as my starting block. I am really ready to start again, back in focus and starting from today. The old Honey is back! I have 3 weeks to the first of my bridesmaid stints and fully intend to lose at least 5-7lbs by then. Watch this space :D

Lois, please would you add me to this months weight loss challenge. Sorry I'm a bit late in asking. I've not been in a position to read the thread the last few days due to family ties.

Thanks and sorry to mess you about. i really appreciate what you do on the thread and feel motivated to lose weight for the first time in ages.

Thanks Honey, I've still got 7.2lbs to go  it's the hardest part but I'm darned if I'm going to let it get to me and depending how I look I may review it. I'm glad to see that you're back on form and that you only gained a pound :T , it's a reminder to us all that even if we lose motivation, but still remain here, then it seems we get the bit back between our teeth very quickly; and I'm convinced that your last few pounds will be gone by the wedding.

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

    Afternoon,

Boy oh boy, if you don't post each day while reading the thread it just runs away from you

Petrichor - you always make me laugh. Belated happy anniversary although I gather 'him' is in the bad books.

Honey - gl with the last few pounds, nice to have to back and motivated :)

    Kat - nice chart.

    Rach - size 10? Oh wow - I swear I was born bigger than a size 10 :D Congratuations. :T

victory - you brushed your teeth yet?

Lois - good idea about checking calories retrospectively, might give that a go myself.

I have the staying power of a dandilion clock in a force 10 gale atm :( This is the second time I've managed to lose 4 lb and my scales are already groaning in advance of me being weighed tomorrow. Why? I have been hungry and eating since Thursday with little regard to my intake! Day 1 is Wednesday (following my weigh-in on Tuesday night). I can't make it back onto the wagon today - I was so hungry on Saturday afternoon I ate it smothered in cottage cheese and tomatoes.

Well done to all who have lost and good luck to those yet to be weighed.

Oh and welcome to all new posters :j

I ended up on vodka and diet lemonaid after on Saturday, but we went back for a party and didnt get home until 5am yesterday morning. I did drink only water at the party though. Quite proud of myself as booze is my weak point.

I have lost the plot with SW at the moment, and am currently trying to do the Paul MacKenna hypnotist thing.

I would love it to work, and go under very easily, so you never know!

I hypnotised myself twice yesterday, and once this morning (on the train)

I will give it a week, and weigh, and then let you know how i get on, if i fail, i will be back on SW in a jiffy!

Hope you had a good time petrichor ;) Great news on you loss :j

And as for you thiftykate, nice to see your enjoying scrabble and Ludo these days. Well your result speaks volumes to me ;)

Size10 Rachel? Size 10!! I am so jealous, I only want to get into an XL shirt :) nearly there.

Honey, the Cisco exam it an IT network exam, means I know how to design computer networks their way, not always the best way. It helps the employer as well I guess. Good to see your hanging around and a 1lb gain to me is good news, as it shows you can step off the merry go round and still not pile the weight on.

Welcome Back Katyk, hope you stick around and play :)

Cathchat, so well done on been able to resist so well, big pat on the back.

Erlqueen, hope you enjoyed the wagon with cottage cheese and tomatos ;) Day 1 tomorrow then?

Long weekend for me, still suffering the after effects of the Rugby tour to Weymouth, I guess it will be next week, until the weight starts to move again. Unfortunatly for me its the End of Season 'p155up' this Saturday which will delay things a little. :o Gym wise I have visited 6 times in the last week average of 860cals a go. Eating wise, strangely I was very very hungray Friday and Saturday, Mrs Suggs says it was the relief after the exam. I do know I got extermely tired Saturday for no reason.

Had a 0.5 weight loss this morning.

I really should have lost more but when I looked back at the week I " remembered " an episode involving a box of ritz and some cheese and a bit too much wine on Saturday evening.:o

I think what has happened to me is I got a little complacent and sort of forgot that I actually do have to work on this weight loss thing - it just doesn't seem to happen on its own! :rotfl:

I also find I suffer from "food amnesia" ie. I eat something (usually something I really shouldn't have) and then promptly forget that I have eaten it!

However on a more positive note - We have a new member of the family as of last week! A beautiful 9 month old Bichon Frise little boy by the name of Charlie! I have been on plenty of walkies this week with a big huge smile on my face!!:j :j :j

    Marion
ps - going to Holland Thursday for 12 days so will miss posting my weight for next 2 Mondays - I will try to be good!;)
pps - my new icon is a picture of Charlie!
