Hiskyblue & Mookybargirl Ihoped you enjoyed your first class. I get the magazine and love reading the stories, which give me more incentive. Once I have read them all I cut out the recipes and laminate them. That way you can keep them to hand and it doesnt matter if you spill anything on them when cooking ( I'm a very messy cook):o

honey I hope you are feeing better.

I went to class tonight but was very tempted to skip it (like last week!!) cos my friend decided she wasnt going... I forced myself to go and even walked:D Anyways pleased to report 2& half lb loss:D I was amazed as I was convinced I'd gained:o (note to self throw away own scales).

I have decided to set my target too, only 1lb to go cos hadnt realised about the 3lb leeway. My new target will be more maintainable hopefully.

    Well done to everyone

Lol honey my friend has those straws (from ann summers) Very funny at BBQs but for some reason the guys arent too keen!? :rotfl:

Had just over 1200 calories today when exercise factored in, so am well chuffed. also got some new summer clothes in the post (not very MSE but internet shopping is a good distraction from revision!!) and they r really nice (not too tight, but could be looser, more incentive to be thin this summer!!) and i'm feeling all pleased :o

Honey i hope you have cheered up a bit now, and managed not to bite your H's head off!! I'm sorry you had a rubbish day.

Welcome newbies - skyblue & Mookybargirl and any other i missed. Hope you find this thread as helpful as i/we do!! x

Hello. Hope you don't mind me butting in. I'm thinking of joining an online weight loss group, tried essentialsweightloss but it was rubbish, now going to go with WW. Anyone else doing that?

My weight history: highest 15 st 8.5 lb, lowest 11 st 8lb, current 14 st :( As you can see I need to sort myself out!

BTW, this seems like a very supportive thread :)

Hi Mushypeas  Welcome. Yes, its very supportive - whether you need a good kick up the backside, a recipe idea, some motivation or even a hug :o this is definately the thread for it. There are a few WW-ers on here who I am sure will help you out. Break your weight loss down into small chunks, that way it wont seem so daunting and the small chunks eg 7lbs will appear manageable. Why not join in with the lose 5lbs by end of May challenge - its just an incentive to keep going, keeps the competitive spirit up and no one will lynch you if you don't make it!

JO - well done on the weight loss, thats a good result, especially when you weren't expecting it.

Feeling much better today, still have a splitting headache but the form has lifted you will be glad to hear! Thanks for the hugs. DH and I are going to a formal tonight, I had though my dress would be a bit tight but just tried it on and it fits ok :T

Well here is the confession peeps:D brace yourselves, this is big:eek: after 126 days on this healthy eating plan , or nearly 19 weeks or the entire year so far bar the 1st 4 days, Victory has had, OMG how can I break it to you all gently :rotfl: a drifter choc two finger bar:rotfl: :rotfl:

In my defence it was medicinal, went to town, had a major hypo(diabetic hypo is when the blood sugars go lower than 4, mine were 2.9 and you start to get the shakes, act as if you are drunk, loose balance, feel light headed, sick, disorientated, confused, it is not a pleasent feeling) was right outside Woolies but had my lucozade energy tablets in my pocket which I take 2 of immediately this happens, I knew that (was not that far gone;) ) but chose to go into Woolies and buy a drifter and eat it at super speed so that it took effect, how it tasted after 126 days I have no idea, I have no intention of brushing my teeth for the rest of the day though just incase there is some caught in there and I can finally taste it:rotfl: :rotfl:

Rang my H straight away and when he answered I said " I am a drifter eater and I am proud":rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Maybe in another 126 days time I will get to eat another one and enjoy it this time:D

HONEY glad you're feeling better, have a great time tonight.

Victory thanks for that, and yes it was all worth it now...:D Just been shopping with OH and bought a bikini tin that colour:cool: It's only to wear on our hols in 4 weeks, def not in back garden where neighbours could see me:eek:
I think OH was just happy that I finally feel as tho I could wear one after all these years:rotfl: I do think that exercise has had a lot to do with it, even tho I am limited as to what I can do with my back and sciatica.

    mushypeas :hello: and welcome.
You will get lots of support and encouragement when you are feeling down. Everyone is very friendly so do stick around. I do SW so cant help you with WW but lots of people can.

    Hiya Jo,

I've bought clothes off of eBay, and it was off of people that were relatively new sellers, and the clothes were great. Not only do they fit (rah!:j ), but they were wrapped really well in tissue paper. I got a halter neck top in a bright red, as I was feeling confident, and it was only £4!

That and I had to get a top to go with my dorothy shoes that are all red, sparkly and make me feel like I've just finished an episode of "how to look good naked"... :o
