Lose Weight 12

Hi all, I've been having a read of this thread and would like to join.
This is the fisrt time I've ever posted a message (even though I work in IT) so please forgive me if I get things wrong.
I've been trying to loose weight now for years, at my heaviest I was over 13 stone, I'm now 11 stone 3lb and would like to be 9st 8lb so about a stone and a half to go. My biggest problem seems to be that I sabotage myself, I can do really well and loose a few pounds, get to the 11 stone mark and then go mad and eat myself out of house and home. I'm hoping that with some support I might break through the 11 stone barrier.0 -
right that is it, the healthy eating is officially over:rotfl: :rotfl: I have had 4 milk chocolate digestives:eek: , or as my H just said it is my 6 monthly treat:D(6 months on wednesday I have been doing this) they tasted lovely, one of them was a hobnob, yum yum;) that's me again until 4 weeks when I go on my hols, full up on choc and satisfied for another 6 months:D :rotfl:
After your disappointment at Loch Fyne those 4 little treats will just fill up the space nicely :j I hope you savoured every little crumband that your lovely dinner today went down well with H and DS', that should keep them off your back for a while

Hya all
Well i feel so down about myself at the moment.Ive lost 1 and 1/2 stone at SW but been on hols, put loads on and dont want to go back!
My friend has lost 4 stone at WW so Im v tempted to go there this wek and pack SW in. ...Im not a big drinker so that helps but i do work with food every day, white bread with real butter, bacon, sausages...........  you get the picture!
Hi pegginout
Please don't feel downwe all feel like that when we return from our hols, but it is so important to get back into the swing of things immediately because if you don't you will really regret it in 6 months time and another couple of stones heavier  So whatever plan you choose do it NOW (that is from experience
). I realise that working with food makes things harder but just imagine all that horible, greasy fat being stuck on your hips, not to mention what it's doing to your heart _pale_ . Have a good evening so that your feeling upbeat tomorrow

...Pocoyo your jelly belly will soon be gone ..and.. lubo you have already done really well, don't spoil it by bingeing as you only regret it don't you? ...
...bindi :grouphug: You poor thing, but I'm glad that you're feeling a bit brighter today and hope that you'll be a lot better in the morning ...

Just realised that the last time I posted on this thread was 18th May. Glad to see that everyone seems to be doing really well with this losing weight lark.
Since my last post I have celebrated a significant bithday, with far too many celebratory meals ( and quite a few celebratory drinks as well I might add). I didn't make it to WW that week as my birthday was actually on WW day. Had probably put on loads anyway.
I did go back the next week, and lost 1 and a half pounds. making a total of 10 pounds. Last week I managed to shift 3 pounds, and was really pleased.
So thats 13 pounds in total so far, but a great deal more to lose.
Have a good weeki every one.

Morning All
Monday start of a new week and new challenges ahead. I managed to stick to only 7 glasses of wine last week so really pleased with myself. Did not even feel tempted to have more and when I had two glasses Friday I actually felt it was a bit too much were as normally I would have drunk 1/2 bottle before even thinking about it.
Sold 13 out of 16 of my ebay stuff so that is £50 and I got about £18 from Amzon this week so I was thinking maybe I deserve a little treat. I really feel I need a new handbag and those Radley ones are so cute I might have to have a look at one.
Lost 1lb this week not a lot I know but only made it to Pilates once and did not work out at the gym so not too bad. This week is going to be manic but I am confident I can stick to my 7 glasses. Going to a 50th Birthday Saturday so might have to save up for that.

will someone please give me an almightly kick up the butt?? I cannot get motivated whatsoever to loose any weight. To all my friends and family i'm doing well cos I eat healthy around them. But they dont see me buying 3 choc bars in the petrol station and munching on them on the way home
I'm now at the heaviest I've been in my life0 -
Looking for some inspiration for some very low kcal desserts. After I have eaten my lunch I crave something sweet. Tried fruit and yoghurt but getting a bit feed up with that. Tried ignoring the feeling telling my self I am full and don't need any more food, but if I aren't very careful this ends with me buying a chocolate bar or cookies when I drop off the little one at school. Any ideas welcome. Don't find it a problem after tea as other half is watching me and I have a hot chocolate once the kids are in bed, ( Low kcal of course)0

juststarting - have you tried a mint tea? I drink mint tea with 2 sweetners (rather than sugar) and I often find that it takes away my desire for something sweet at the end of a meal. It is also supposed to be good for your digestion (which is obviously a bonus)0
