Well done everybody who has managed to lose or maintain, hope to be up with you all soon.

Just thought I would pop in and see how you are all doing. I have had such a busy week this week been so many different places with work but most in portantly I have stuck to my no more than 7 glasses a week pledge and since Monday I have only had 4 glasses which is a record for me.

Yesterday was really difficult as we had run out of the yoghurt I usually have for breakfast. There was no milk left and the bread was off so I had some home made smoothie instead. Now this is usually not enough for me so I planned to eat early lunch after my first appointment.

Well I could not find my secound appointment so ended up with no time for lunch but I had some digestives in my bag so kept my blood sugar OK. After my appointment I just wanted to get home (nearly a two hour drive) so stopped to get petrol and some food. Nothing to eat at the petrol station so instead of grabbing some crisps I had another smoothie which must have been a better choice.

Feel really proud of myself and will do my best now to stick on the right track this weekend.

Great news ju :T I hope you enjoyed your wine, you deserve a treat :j ...
...Well done TallGirl on sticking to your wine pledge despite everything :j ...

...I wish I could trust myself to have just a couple of glasses, because DD has just got a fabulous job and we'd like to take her out for a celebration meal, but I don't want to spoil my efforts at this crucial stage. I feel very selfish :o but as punishment.....when we were in Debenhams last week we were admiring some Radley handbags and I told DD then that if she got the job I'd treat her to one. Why didn't I keep my mouth shut :rotfl: :rotfl: and why can't she have a memory loss :rotfl: :rotfl:??... That's my £s for lbs money gone, never mind ;)

    ...Have a great weekend :D

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Hi everyone. Ju thats excellent news :j. Welcome to all the newbies. Tallgirl welldone for keeping on track even when things weren't going straightforward for you. Petrichor I've done exactly the same as you and cut out wine completely. I'm not really missing it at the moment though. I have thought about just buying a half size bottle when I go shopping next that way I can't do too much damage. I don't know yet I'll see how I feel when I go shopping next. Victory be proud of your weight loss and just smile at the others at the school gate. They are just jealous that you have done so well and look so great. Your posts are so inspirational for others. I'm really glad I've changed to calorie counting. I'm finding it really easy now to stay in control of what I'm eating and I don't feel guilty about food anymore. I'm still eating healthily but if I fancy a certain food and I'm within my calorie quota for the day I have it without the guilt trip afterwards. It seems to be working. I had a sneaky peak on the scales this morning and its going in the right direction. My goal this week is to up my exercise. I've got no excuse not to ,I've got exercises dvds and some equipment, just need to shift myself to use them. Good luck everyone, have a good weekend.:D

Hi peeps:D just got back from Loch Fyne, the fish restaurant, very nice, very tasty but the portion sizes were made for a 2 year old that had just eaten:rotfl: :rotfl: I had the salmon slices (4 on this massive white plate) with lemon on the side, no bread or butter, then the trout in mustard sauce (never ate the sauce) and a handful of chips so am very pleased and proud that I managed to actually eat in a restaurant and not blow it all:D
H had the fish soup, very strong, the mackerel in garlic sauce, all the portions of bread, no butter and the chips.... all good:D

For father's day tomorrow I have planned a fish platter of salmon, crab, trout, crab fish sticks and a few other fish that the name escapes me at the mo.... with lemons and a salad for starters, turkey roast with loads of veg, no yorkshires and only roast pots for the kids and no gravy so there is nothing to worry about there but I may go absolutely bonkers and have a milk digestive that the boys have bought for their dad or even a quality street, oh the rebel in me is coming out now:rotfl: :rotfl:

Would I go to Loch Fyne again? No:rotfl:

you are right misty calorie counting works for me wonders, it is the way to go, thanks for the nice words, I am on a 7 day dress up and stick two fingers up as I go past mission this week and it is working because in Waitrose just now, the deputy manager who was helping me find something was so very nice to me, chatting away and then when it was all sorted he went to walk off, turned round and winked at me!!! Me, it was me there was no one else about in that aisle (I checked) me, see a bit of self confidence gathered from your boots and it is a happy rub off to all around so I am well chuffed and at the school will continue to do my own thing for the week and feel good about me because to be honest, I count for me, they don't!!

Well done Victory glad you had something nice to eat even if it was not that much. I do remeber going to Loch Fyne and having to order lots of side dishes as the portions are so small guess it is good if you are on a diet.
Also just seen your signature wow 4 stone that is amazing well done you.

Had a really lazy day today. Went to Macro so stock up on wine (not for me alone) and foodshopping. Did treat myself to some pedicure stuff it really shows when you get the sandals out.

12 of my ebay items finished tonight got £22 for them so not great but not that bad either. 4 more to go tomorrow.

Just about to have dinner been good all day but will have a glass of wine with dinner. Still on 4 glasses for the whole week so 3 left to last me to Sunday which is fine.

Next week I am away tonights so that is going to be tough but look forward to my WI on Moday as I am sure I have lost some.

Hope you are all having a good weekend. Take care
