Morning peeps:D Thanks to all of you I have set myself a challenge....I am not hiding (H offered to take DS to school today so I don't have to see the gate mafia:rotfl: :rotfl: ) but no I said for 7 days I am going to wear some of my lovely new clothes and walk tall and proud, regardless, I had a word with myself last night (could not sleep) and I realise my clothes are going to waste, if they had lost over 4 stone as H said they would be wearing new brighter more flattering clothes so I am going to.....

I also realise now that I am independent, special, unique as in there is only one of me (read that in a self confidence book:rotfl: ) and I have something to give (oh the library is so useful:rotfl: ) I don't have to hide and won't so here goes to a fraught 7 days of clothes show;)

To anyone like me on this thread find something within you, fight against it, do your best and the rewards reap the panic:D

I thought last night it was like in the famous clip of the film 'bridget jones' when she shows up to a party dressed as a bunny and no one else has as it has been changed and she had not been told:rotfl: :rotfl:
Gate mafia, can't stop laughing at that:rotfl:

    Hi Lovely Peeps :hello:

not-tagged-smiley-14578.gif... Brighton belle I'm glad you've found us to be of help and that SW is working for you despite your health problems :j I agree that the monthly challenge is a great idea as it has really helped me, so keep with us and make sure that you put your name down for the July one  ...
...and Wendy :T What an marvellous achievement, do you have any more to lose? No doubt over the last 2 years you've had times when your motivation has been low etc perhaps you'd be kind enough to let us know how you coped with them as hopefully it will help...

...karren I hope you're feeling better today, as Wendy said you have to keep going because it will be so worth it :D ...

...Thanks for your post Victory which I read after coming back from the shops. It inspired me to walk back up to our library and browse through the health and fitness section and found Weekend Confidence Coach - How to kick the self-doubt habit in 48 hours by Lynda Field. I may have given a hint over the last few months (days) that at times I'm not the most confident or positive of people :rotfl: They based the Victor Meldrew scene - where he said "I know what I'll do, I'll count my blessings..There that didn't take long" - on me:rotfl: :rotfl:I'm already thinking '48 hours Ha!' but I'll give it a go :D ...

...I was wondering where our little chum Honey was

I hope you all have a good weekend,

    hello all,
I went away for my holiday at easter and never got back on the slimming wagon! I have finally pulled myself up out of the biscuit tin and joined a club last night and I hope you dont mind me coming back to join you.

I know we all find it difficult sometimes but I am now 4lb heavier than when I started last time - I have never been this heavy and I am determined to sort myself out. Its lovely to see you're all doing great, well done suggs, victory and petrichor to name but a few.

(((hugs))) to consultant and anyone else who needs/wants one.

Lois do you mind popping me back on the chart, thanks so much.

Will let you all know how I'm doing - good luck all BBx

I hope the book works for you, let me know if it does;) the library is so well known to me I am thinking soon they will name a bench after me:rotfl: :rotfl:

I have pledged to myself for the next 7 days I am going to dress to impress with my new clothes, on both school runs, the one in the morning when everyone (nearly) looks as if they have been dragged out of bed and forgot to take their pj's off:rotfl: and the one in the afternoon where they have had all day to get ready and look presentable but have not bothered:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I will be triumphant and someone will say ' you look good today';)

4 stone weight loss and proud that is me now:D

I must say I was well proud today, my 7 year old teacher pulled me aside and told me that my little one is a credit to me, very polite, caring to others, helpful and a pleasure to teach, a real credit to me so there it is a blessing:D must have done something right;)

My challenge to you petrichor is to find one thing a day that you enjoy and go and do it, no excuses, life passes us by when we get caught up in I can't because.... if you fancy throwing yourself out a plane, book it, if you want to go to a nudist beach, go, if you want to sit in the cinema on your own watching a film you want to watch go, if you want to go and see a show book it, if you need peace to finish the book you keep putting off, ask for it, no more excuses for 7 days (yes of course it is from another book, do you need to ask?:rotfl: )

    Evening people,

First of all i'll introduce myself.... Sugarhunny.... Says it all really doesnt it! This is the first time i've ventured this far afield. I'm normally in the DFW and the Arms. Hope your all a friendly bunch.

Had a wee look about and your a motivating lot aint you! I lost 46lb in total last year and got down to my ideal weight of 10st 8lb but have slowly creeped back up to 11st 11lb (by my scales) *sob sob* I know im eating the wrong stuff but my hand wont stop shoving food/crisps/choc into my mouth. Its so unfair. Dunno if an amputation would be easier!

    Anyhow, I'll stop rambling on.....

I'm thinking of going back to WW (weight watchers) but upon looking at the site am i seeing that they have put the price of the weekly class up??????? Surely not!

Amputation would almost certainly be cheaper but it would mean having to go to a supermarket and buy a knife.... while im there it would also mean buying cheese (just to test how sharp the knife is......... not that i would eat the cheese, honestly) and crisps and choc etc etc..... Thats that plan out the window!

    Sheesh....

:rotfl: Just looking back over the thread, I have just read your post victory (no 740) and had to laugh where you said "keep to a calorie per day" - its no wonder I'm fat as I eat much more than one calorie!! LOL:rotfl: :rotfl:

Welcome back BB :T Don't beat yourself up for falling off the wagon, at least you've climbed back on and now in control :j Stay with us :D ...

...welcomelilltlexn7.pngSugarhunny1 Well done for only gaining 17lbs and not the whole 46 that you lost last year, so you see you're already back in control:T , and as you already know the WW plan why not put the money that you would spend on classes each week into a pot so that when you lose those measley 17lbs the money is for you (very MSE and DFW:j ). There is a load of motivation here to help you, so stick with us and you will soon be a slimmer and wealthier you :D

...Victory thinkyr1.gifI'm trying to think of something I enjoy :rotfl: I'll let you know when I think of one, but don't hold your breath :rotfl: :rotfl: I remember when MrP and I went to a Parents' Evening , and when we told the teacher that we were DD's parents' he said "Oh! At Last!! A good pupil to talk about", we felt so proud and like you, we realised that we'd done something right. I hope you've praised your DS.
