    Morning

Just checking in to report a 2lb gain this week, which I'm not too surprised about. Day One today!

See you later with the weekly update. Have a good day. :D

p.s. edit to add a conundrum - having enjoyed a hotel breakfast yesterday, I was interested to notice that a Kelloggs portion pack of cereals contains 60g, so why is it that on the full packets of Kelloggs cereal they state a portion as 30g...??

    Well done Katmad!!

I lost (I think, my scales are unreliable) 1/2 pound, not much, but it's a start! Plus, I've been back on the stationary bike, hope that will help!

Btw, has anyone heard of the "GL" (glycemic load) diet? Is it any good/worth getting the book?

Congrats to those who lost weight, I'll soon be joining you! :j

    Morning All

Well done again to Katmad :j

Lois I always thought that is odd with regards to cereal portion, this is going back to my days of travelling around the UK and hotel stopovers. I always tend to have big bowls of cereal or porridge in the morning, especially when playing rugby or gym'ing it.

Welcome to all the newbies and big congratulations to all losers and maintianers. for those who gained, never fear, Day one is here!

Hope all going well with recovery bindiboo

Well Boots still havent moved the scales, its still next to the prescription counter and there was a nice queue today to bear witness to me wandering in my t shirt and jogging bottoms, slipping off my trainers and stepping ever so gently on the scales, after making sure the scales are not touching the wall. Anyway I lost 5lb :j which I am more than happy with, after the trials of the last few weeks (Rugby tour, end of season dinner, daughters birthday) always but always feels so much better when after hitting the milestone, you lose again, it reassures you :)

Right time to get ready for a meeting. Catch up soon.

    Hello everyone,
I have not changed weight this week. Have all the family arriving home from unis etc for the summer, two b'day parties last week and another one this Saturday so haven't really tried so hard this week. Also little exercise because I had to rest up again this week. I am hoping for some change next week.

Well done everyone else. And congratulations Katmad!!

  • Hi Everyone

Managed to stay the same this week, not surprising after my big loss last week. Hope everyone has a great week. I'm hoping to lose another kg this week. Well done to everyone who has lost or maintained, and those who didn't never mind, it's a new week and a new start.
