I don't want to be left out:D I do a weekly menu but do not have it fixed to my fridge, where is the spreadsheet or whatever you need to so it with, quickly can't have this:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Victory if you have the full version of Microsoft outlook 2000 for e-mail theres' a bit where you can put in your appointments etc in the calender. I usually type in meal plans instead of appointments as well as things that are happening that week (as in OH on night shift) and print out to stick on the fridge. I usually print out 2 weeks worth (7 days on each sheet) as I couldn't stick to a menu plan for longer than that
The last 2 weeks before payday are usually really tight for us, but thanks to Menu planning, we have plenty of food this time around(and I'm not doing the usual panic binge eating in case we run out:o as if I'll starve to death with this much weight to lose:rotfl:)
Well done losers this week. My weigh in is tomorrow morning, so will report back then.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -

I print out a whole month at a time, but blank, and then write in a week's worth of meals at a time, usually just before I do my shopping on line.
Some people think that menu planning is too rigid, but we sometimes make changes if something comes up that I hadn't planned for, like a sudden heat wave, or getting home late from work. There's always room for fine tuning.

I have found meal planning great as it takes out the what do I do for tea tonight? and makes the shopping much easier as I know what I need, also don;t waste as much food. But do sometimes change my mind when I really feel I don't fancy what is planned, thats the fun of it all.0
