    Hi

Haven't been about much, not really been having a good time with the whole weight loss thing. I've had to but new scales as the one's I have said I put on 3 lbs in a week!!! I know I didn't but it's still a bit hard when the numbers flash at you! Then I weighed on Sunday (changing my day) and they said a gain of 2 lbs (still don't believe) I went off to do a BIG poo and weighed again after that to discover I had PUT ON a pound!!! So, one quick trip to ebay later, my fabby new WW scales will be at home later :)

Hopefully they will tell a better story.

Sorry, I haven't caught up on all the posts, but good luck to all, and congrats to those who have lost :)

  • Hi All,

I have just joined this site and when I was reading through the forum topics I came across this one, I have been losing weight via WeightWatchers, I go to the meetings and yet to do it via online, but I am pleased with how my progress is I have been doing this since March and I have lost 15 and 1/2lbs and feel better in myself for this.

I have bought the new Weight Watchers scales to help keep on my weight day by day and I do the simliar thing by weighting my self before and after using the Loo and I have also got my partner doing this too.

The downside to the scales I have they make my 2lb heavier after being weighed at my meetings. :D

....I was sat here thinking how WW wasn't working, that I am absolutely bloomin' starving, berating myself for being so rubbish...when I realised that I still have 7 points left for the rest of the day :o (I've already counted my main meals and snacks....)

Not sure what's happened today  but think I'll allow myself a glass or two of wine....

Obviously shouldn't be in charge of myself at the moment

    Hope everyone is feeling OK?

    Cheers

    Welcome Theonetheycallboo

In the shop today, milling around were two bean pole pencil thin 16 year old girls, one was wearing an empire line smock with black leggings and ballet pumps, pretty girl, lovely figure, lovely and tall, long hair (that is my view of her) she kept fidgeting with the back hem line of the smock, walking a bit around the shop and then trying to get it past her bottom again, her friend asked her what she was doing all this clothes adjusting....'"I can't let anyone see my bum it is huge" (which obviously it wasn't at all) her friend tutted and walked off....

It made me think I have many more decades under my belt of the 'body issues' and I thought it was such a shame that are her young age she was already so self-conscious of something that she saw was a problem but no one else did, I am going to make an even more effort to over ride my body issues and just get on with the living with it bit:D

Thanks everyone for the congratulations, suggs I would much rather be you without gout, diabetes, pain and arthritis than loosing 2 lb this week:rotfl: :rotfl: ;)
