Well done beanie
Elrqueen is your boss incapable of going to get his/her own lunch?!
Is she/he slim and has no probs with what they eat?
Would your boss want you to be under pressure to buy for two if he/she knew how hard you are trying?
The pressure of 'joining in' is always going to be there, the trick is to join in with low fat, healthy, low calorie foods that make you slimmer, happier, full and don't make you feel as if you feel left out...
If you must eat infront of others and cannot go out for a lovely walk at lunchtime or eat alone then look at their foods and see it covered in hairs, dirt, yucky stuff like Paul Mackenna says and that will put you off it:rotfl: :rotfl:
Making a weekly meal planner will help, take in your own lunch, only buy foods off your list that make recipes/lunch/dinner/breakfast, know what you are going to eat and when helps...
karen We all have down days, can't be bothered days, this is too hard days, what is the point if I am not loosing weight days but the best thing you can do for yourself is to see it for what it is, just a blip, you know you are capable of loosing weight, you know you will be delighted when you do and it will be better for you, healthy wise, happiness wise, you know that as you are now you are not totally happy and you are trying to make yourself the happiest you can be.
This is a long journey with a roller coaster ride in it to boot! so the path is not easy, make a food diary, take your measurements, up the exercise, drink loads of water, keep active, fill up with all the fab fruit and veg out, cook from scratch, buy some low fat recipe books and experiment, it is worth it in the end, the weight will come off it just needs a bit of determination and help. You are capable of both....0 -
Well serves me right I got weighed yesterday and had lost 1lb got weighed again to day and have only lost 1/2lb just goes to show getting weighed more then once a week isn't good. So I will have to count this week as a alose of 1/2lb not brillant but it's still a loss. Think I need to up the exersice as I am sticking to 1200 cals which should give me a slow weight lose. Other half is always saying the slower it comes off the longer it will stay off!!!!
Well done to all you who have lost and maintained and keeping smiling anyone who gained there is always next week.0 -
Hi everyone, well done to everyone thats lost.
Well I have weighed and have lost a whopping 1/4lb:rolleyes: oh well never mind. That leaves 25 3/4 lb to lose in total and 4 3/4 lb for June challenge. I am determined to acheive the June challenge. It doesn't seem so bad when its broken down into monthly challenges does it.
Good luck everyone.0 -

I know some of these responses are a bit slow so please excuse my waffling
Firstly the usual welcome  to any new posters. Hope you find this place as fabulous as I do.
jojilufc - so called mate indeed! You've done fantastic^^ You should have looked at her in a pitying way and asked her if she realised that she needed to visit an optician! Sorry Petrichor I wouldn't have held back from a nasty response and :j: bet you looked fab in your sun frock
I'm also still very disorganised. If I could plan ahead not only would I save £££s but I'd also lose lbs
ohhh.... stop now for a separate post^^0 -
I dont know if I've lost or put on weight! My scales said yesterday 11st 5lbs (one pound loss), but today it says 11st 8lbs!!!
I should get better scales, rather then the cheapest ones from Argos...
Anyway, I'm not pleased...
But congrats who all who lost!0 -
