I have been trying to follow slimming world without going to the classes and had noticed the books from ebay are really expensive. I read yesterday on another site that they can be bought direct from slimming world a lot cheaper. I ordered this morning and had no problem when they asked if I was a member and I said no. It's more a case of being so spoilt by me for so long that yes, he probably is. On the other hand if I don't feed him he gets awfully grumpy in the afternoon - my ears cannot stand the shouting :eek: This is partly where the 'lying' to myself comes in. He doesn't ask for anything in particular for lunch and will eat whatever I give him so I have no excuse for not feeding him only things I am allowed to eat.
Is she/he slim and has no probs with what they eat?

If you must eat infront of others and cannot go out for a lovely walk at lunchtime or eat alone then look at their foods and see it covered in hairs, dirt, yucky stuff like Paul Mackenna says and that will put you off it:rotfl: :rotfl: ICK
Making a weekly meal planner will help, take in your own lunch, only buy foods off your list that make recipes/lunch/dinner/breakfast, know what you are going to eat and when helps...
This is the brick wall that I am trying to tear down :mad: My boss lets me fetch the dog into work everyday so lunchtime is always taken up by a good walk for us both. Trouble is by the time I've sorted dinner for my boss and I I've taken nearly a 2 hour lunch. He doesn't mind, especially if I'm feeding him but then I seem to struggle to keep on top of my work. I am only answerable to myself for my work so this is where I really, really need to get myself organised

I haven't excercised for years think I will start off with a half hour walk in the mornings. see how I go from there.

mmmmm PIZZA I have managed to steer clear of it. I have cooked it for the family a couple of times since starting my weight lose and am pleased to say have not given in to temptation ................YET!!!:o
Biniboo, How do you do it? Pizza, cake and choclate are my weakness but I have found a cup of low cal options as a treat once I have the kids to bed usually stops the chocolate one now to solve the others. This time when I make cake I am making chocolate cake as I don't like it and Pizza only had 2 very small slices of home made pizza on a thin base with just a little cheese so have done a bit more walking so now not feeling so bad. So hopefully I have turned a bad day into an OK one if I can face 30 mins on the stepper once the kids are in bed.0 -
