I've got a 2 in 1 thats a cross trainer and a exercise bike, its really good, its in front of my TV in my bedroom so I try to go on it when ever Eastenders is on, that way I am exercising a least 4 times a week - infact I'm off now to go on it

    Hi dawny

I was so taken with your 2 in 1 thingy, so I googled it and found this here Is this like the one you have? I realise it's the cheapest but I don't want to splash out on something if I decide I don't like it. I've got a mini stepper which I use regularly but I want something else now to exercise other parts of my body than just my legs.

Lois, you asked me last week what my total weight loss was for the chart, its 20lbs. I think the last time I was on the chart the total you had for me wasn't up to date, so its 20lbs. Ideally its 2lbs to target weight, as per SW, but I'd like to be a bit below that to allow for fluctuations :D

Is that including your fantastic loss this week?

  • Hi guys

Have been getting so despondent about losing weight and would like to join if I may. I weigh 76kgs and am only 5ft3. I need to weigh 48 kgs which is good for my small frame. I am going to try really hard and am going on holiday in November, summer back home, and that's 27 weeks to go. I would like to shift at least 13kgs by then. Have worked out that if I lose 500g per week I'd be 63kgs by then, then I can continue when I come back.

Thanx so much, really need all the encouragement I can get, and I see you guys have done absolutely amazingly. Congratulations. I saw yesterday on another thread that a member has lost 10 stone, think it was catewithers, but not sure, sorry if I got that wrong. That is so wow! and has motivated me to get off my a**e and do something.

    Thanx

This is it, its the first one I have used almost every week since I got it so to me its been money well spent. I got mine from Halfords, they had them out on display so I had a go on it before I bought it. Its so quiet so I can watch tv and if the kids are in bed it doesn't disturb them. I also enjoy going on it which I think is half the battle

  • Hi victory and dawnydee73

Thanx for the welcome, it's such a friendly place, MSE. I am starting tomorrow and am really looking forward to doing this. Cannot exercise at the moment as I've been off work for nearly three months with my slipped disc, so can't do anything physical, so as you can imagine it's just one vicious circle at the mo so am hoping this will make me feel more positive. Thanx so much. Is there anything else I need to do?

    Thanx

    Morning All,

Firstly, commiserations to all gainers this week, and :grouphug: to give you all support, as your determination will mean that it'll pay off.

And secondly congrats to Petrichor, Honey and Victory and all other losers and maintainers... amongst which is me! *victory dance involving wiggling of slightly smaller hips* I've lost 4lbs this week making me 70kg on the dot! On more lb to hit the monthly target and 2lbs off to hit my 11 stone target and then only one more stone to go!!:T :j :T

And all this thanks to all your fabulous support, advice and katmad's calorie counter!
    I :heartpuls you guys! :o
