    Morning All :)

Welcome evergreen, of course you are welcome to join us. 1.5 stone is very achievable and you will do it -start by cutting out bread, biscuits, sweets and replace them with fruit, ryvita, low fat yogurts, sugar free jelly (see victory's previous post for other ideas). Up your water intake, as well as helping flush out those lbs its also great for your skin. Are you able to increase your exercise at all - even going for a walk around the block in the evening will boost your metabolism. You will find lots of advice on this thread so stick with us!

    Hi all :)

Although I haven't been posting, I have been reading all your messages and you lot are truly awesome :)

I've had a bit of a bad week, as we had social plans for the whole weekend, which resulted in restaurant meals, cocktails, buffets and VATs (slimline of course!) However, I did spend 3 hours of saturday night boogying, so that covers some of the exercise!

I forgot to weigh myself this morning - head full of other things!
Shh, don't tell anyone, I'm going for a colonic irrigation this lunchtime!
It's the first time, and I'm a bit nervous! Friend of mine told me she lost 6 pounds doing it once!!! That's not why I'm doing it though, it's just I can sometimes get a bit "bound" and thought this would be a good idea :)

Let you know how it went later :) I'll try and get myself weighed before and after!

welcome evergreen:D avoiding bread is a good step, it has a bloating effect and the docs say to avoid so you are right, if I have it I have nimble or WW wholemeal bread, it is slower digested and keeps you fuller for longer but the limit is 2 slices a day....

    Hi all,

Hope its ok if I join you! I currently weigh in at 10.5stone (have lost 2lb so far) and my target weight is 9.3stone which I weighed pre-babies!!! I'm trying to do a little bit of exercise each day either a workout on the lateral thigh trainer or an exercise dvd to get myself abit fitter and burn off a few calories. My legs are hurting this morning as I managed to do both yeaterday!

Hopefully trying to get to my target before September when we are off on holiday!

    Morning all

Welcome to all the newcomers - I won't list you all as I'm bound to miss someone!

I'm pleased to report a 1lb loss this week. I'm slightly disapointed that it's only 1lb as I made the mistake  of weighing myself on Monday and I'd lost 2lbs then, but don't worry, I'm not downhearted - just all the more determined to lose 2lbs next week so that I hit the May target.

    Catch you later

    Hiya

Well I went to Boots, went on the scales and as I weighed myself notice it was pushed against the wall slightly, touching a leaflet display thingy. so the first reading read a 2lb loss!

Decided to redo the weighin and moved the scales everso slightly away from the wall a 1lb loss! So I will play safe and take the 1lb loss

I don't know whether to laugh or cry :-)

Hi all, hope you are all well.

Had a family event this weekend. Tried to be as sensible as possible. ALso had to change my weight loss plan slightly from last Thurs as I have a pending operation in June and need to up my calorie intake.

Anyway, was really feeling panicky after Sunday events, thinking I had gained loads. The results are now in afetr weigh in this morning.##

    I have gained 0.02lbs!!!!;) 15_8_6.gif

So If its alright with everyone here, shall we class this as no change????

My loss this week however has come in inches.

This week I have lost another

    1/2" Bust
    2" Waist
    1/2" Thighs
    1" hips

So in 5 weeks I have lost 7_1_108.gif

    4" bust
    6" waist
    5 1/2" hips
    1 1/2" upper arms
    3 1/2" thighs

so I am feeling quite good now.:T

gonna dig some old torusers out now and see if I can get into them yet:rolleyes:

GOOD LUCK to everyone else today

    Hi all

Just come back from my colonic and must say I thought it went quite well. I still feel a little windy, and the train journey home could be interesting, but I think I would do it again.

I wasn't able to weigh myself, but I will do it tomorrow, and have to assume that the vast majority of the loss (if any) is down to my "procedure".

I may report back later with longer term effects :)
