    :o Hi, Petrichor/honey28,
Unfortunately my downfall is ALCOHOL(got to have some stress release!) but I don't ever pick off the kids plate, so I guess that kind of helps.
I have just invested in an excercise bike so, hopefully if the kids go to bed on time(fat chance!) I will be able to click up the milage on that. For the last two weeks I have walked my daughter to / from school at least once a day - Weather permitting, that is 2 1/2 miles both ways.
I have also got one of those "instant abs" it's supposed to be better than crunches - we shall see!!
Thank you for your welcome I shall keep you posted.:T

Welcome! I personally think WW is the way forward. No restrictions on certain days - infact no restrictions at all. You can either count points, which I have done in the past. O there is no count where you can eat til you are full on the no count foods with 21 points a week extra.
    Good luck anyway

    Hi pegginout

I don't do either SW or WW, just plain calorie counting, but whatever you follow you must stick to it. You've done well so far, and it would be a pity to waste all that hard work, but I agree that you can become bored with a particular plan after a while so perhaps a change will re-motivate you. I hope you have a lovely holiday and that when you come back you'll be in a positive frame of mind to follow whatever plan you choose . I hope that you stay with us here on LW :j where between us all, I think we must just about follow every plan going :D but we get there in the end!!!

I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

I'd definitely vote for WW - I lost 2.5st about 4 years ago using WW online (and I kept it off until I fell pregnant). For me, it was the only 'diet' that has ever worked. Hassle free, no diet restrictions at all, the ability to earn bonus points through exercise, etc, etc. I'm doing it again at the moment, just to lose the last stone of baby weight, and I've got 7lbs to go to goal. I can't recommend WW highly enough.

I've done SW in the past and, to be honest, it worked quite well in the beginning - I lost 7lb very quickly, but beyond that I lost nothing else. I found it quite hard to do, not so much in terms of what I could eat and when, but volume of free food I was encouraged to eat bordered on the insane! I physically couldn't eat as much as I was encouraged to - I was sick of eating and tired of being told I should be eating more....

As petrichor has said, it would be a shame for you to fall by the wayside when you've done so well, and a change is as good as a rest, so perhaps starting with WW for a while might keep your interest level up?

Good luck with whatever you decide - have a great holiday!

    Cheers
    D.

    Hi kelsi and peggi;):D
    Thanks beanie
petrichor you make me laugh, it is upsetting but imagine what your weight would be like if you had not put so much effort into it;)

I am with you all the way on your last 7 lb loss, it gets slower and is tiresome I know but every little bit lost is all in the right direction, mine was coming off at 1 lb a week, not this week I am happy to say but keep up the momentum, watch yourself, keep the exercise going, the portion sizes down, the water drinking, do not take your eye off the ball for a single second as it becomes harder because you need yourself even more to be even more determined to shift the last lot, I know you can do it....

Lois, you asked me last week what my total weight loss was for the chart, its 20lbs. I think the last time I was on the chart the total you had for me wasn't up to date, so its 20lbs. Ideally its 2lbs to target weight, as per SW, but I'd like to be a bit below that to allow for fluctuations :D

Just a quickie (at work!) to say WELL DONE Honey! That's a brilliant result - you've achieved the May target in one week!

It's the first one I've met so far :o
