beanielou glad you enjoyed yourself and don't worry about Tuesday, if you just be careful between now and then I bet you'll be okay  (By the way badger is only away for a well deserved holiday and will be back later in the year)
Well done welsh and katyk :T :T well on the road to success!!...
...and CAE :T :T on your 2lbs off PLUS refusing to be tempted by cakes and takeaways :T :T The feeling will last if you want it to!! Just keep in mind what the rewards will be...
...I went to the continental market but the only turkish delight there was covered in ...dessicated coconut
... so there was no test of my willpower, but it was only a quick visit and I'm taking my mother to it later this morning so I hope that the good stuff hasn't appeared overnight...
Have a good day everyone
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Afternoon all
I feel better, I feel better, I'm so happy....tra la la la Thank you to everyone for all your good wishes. Can't believe how a bout of flu can knock you off your feet so much.
Didn't eat practically anything apart from toast all week... Have done my best to stay away from scales until this thursday... Will be late to class too cos got ice-skating at DS's school before.:rotfl: ME? Ice skates??? Just a few months ago I would have sent DH and just helped with refreshments etc..:o This time I'm doing both:eek: Havent skated for over 20years so:rotfl: :rotfl:
Yesterday oldest DS was on an open top bus which took him and his footie team through centre town and local estates while they held sang championies championies at the top of their voices...:D They won the league for under 12's so their manager arranged it. It was great fun, by the time they got to club all had their shirts off and were swinging them around their heads...:rotfl: All those skinny white ribs of 12 year olds:rotfl: :rotfl:
Of course we celebrated with Mcd's after:eek:  The Mcflurry was shouting my name as we got to parking lot:eek:  Still... will be mega good now.:D
Gonna lop some branches off a tree now...

Glad to see you're back to health jo  Good luck with the ice-skating and the gardening, that will soon get the weight shifting...
...What a brilliant penguin dawny :T I love it. You should be in for a double loss this week...
...Scales broken!!!! rach Okay we'll believe you, but as long as your resolve isn't, size 10 remember, you're too close to ease off now...
...karren Congratulations on doing the race for life and raising all that money :A don't worry about weighing in, if there is any gain it will soon come off...
... I went again to the continental market and managed to ignore the turkish delight* that was there today, so I'm feeling quite smug because I really love the stuff. I tried some whole garlic cloves that were 'pickled', they had a vague vinegary taste, with a hint of paprika or tomato puree stuff, but they were gorgeous, so I bought a load and so far I've had about 20 and still counting (2 cals per clove) Mr P has gone out into the garden and won't come anywhere near me :rotfl: :rotfl: I don't think I'll be getting a goodnight kiss tonight....
xxxx
Edit * The proper stuffI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Well done CAE:j :j glad to hear you are feeling better jo
I went to the car boot sales and bought some more clothes, the probs is they don't fit for the good;) so I have reluctantly put them on ebay, my H wants me to give up again(I make sure he has all the foods he needs and likes so he is not suffering!!) but will not until I have reached the exact weight I want to be at...
It will be 7 weeks on thursday until my hol and now it is kinda reached the oh what will I eat now? So many people keep telling me the hardest bit is to maintain it they have feared me into not being relaxed and happy enough to eat incase it all comes on again or within the 7 weeks....people eh who needs 'em?:D0 -
:j Hi, I'm new here and have been sloughing through the threads from "lose weight 5" I didn't realise how many there were!! Because I am trying to cut our shopping bill down I have decided to do the WW no count.
We are going on holiday in August and I would like to lose a stone and a 1/2 by then.
When my first daughter was born 13 years ago I lost 2 stone on WW points, I have had 3 other children in the last 5 years, so got my work cut out to be "body beautiful" for summer!
Any help would be appreciated! i'm quite a plain eater.
Thanx:j
Well done to all you people who have lost weight!:rotfl:0
