    Hi all

CY Happy birthday - hope you've had a lovely day and that your DH has some answers about his job very soon.
Ionafan congratulations on your DH's retirement - enjoy your meal
Bossymoo Hope kids have stopped fighting
Skint hope you're feeling a bit better, you make me exhausted just reading some of your posts. I only have me (and the 3 cats) to look after.
LW yay about Mary - there's a dog with plenty of personality.
Dusty hope DS2 heels are less sore now, am slightly jealous of your Ike@ visit but as a hoarder in recovery I feel it's somewhere I need to keep away from. :o

Hugs, spoons to those I've missed x

This s:mad:dding cold is still lingering on but have managed to fly:

Bedroom vaccumed & dusted (done yesterday)
Went through my tops drawer and managed to find a few to be put in clothes recycle bin (today)
LR, hallway & kitchen vacuumed (today)
    DW on
    WM on

    Have a great weekend all

Stripped and remade 4 beds this aft - phew - laundry basket full again. DD said she would stay in her own bed if she had her Minnie Mouse covers on, lol, so we'll see how that goes. I've also bribed her with a new pram if she does 5 big sleeps in her own room. DS said can he have a tiny little truck. Bless him. Still, he did get a £40 scalextrix out of my mum last weekend...

Other than the wooden train track covering the LR floor, we are good n tidy :T we even swept up all our bits of paper from our crafting this aft, and all the rice from dinner

Lol, just watching corrie and reminded me when I took DS swimming on tue, one of the mums, as she ushered her DD in, said "remember, train hard!" :rotfl: they are 4 !!! Is it just me or is that pushy mum? Lol I was just pleased DS didn't cry :D

Well today went slightly t*ts up after discovering our beautiful kitty had been hurt...:(
So no flying done as such just lots of trips including one to the vet :(

Poor Titch had a broken jaw in 2 places (tussle with a vehicle presumed) so he's been patched up & is having an overnight stay & will be collected tomorrow (he's also going to be 2 other things lighter :eek:and have a chip in place too, better to get it done now, less anesthetic so the vet said;))

Ooh just discovered my boys have washed, dried & packed away the dishes :D

    Hi there

CY Happy birthday - hope you've had a great day and that your DH hears about his job really soon. :)

Ionafan congratulations on Mr Ionafan's retirement - enjoy your meal on Sunday - but remember it's Mothers Day - so you might need to book! :)

Skint - I hope you're soon feeling a bit better, you amaze me with all your energy! Let's hope things get better soon with no more mishaps or horrible meetings. :)

Dragon, belated Happy Birthday for yesterday! :)

I've had a funny couple of days, our neighbour's moved yesterday, and he, especially, will be missed, he was a lovely chap. And yesterday I went to the funeral of my good friend's ex husband - died in in his 40s and left two lovely children. They had only been divorced a short time and it was awful to see the children mourn their daddy. I know there are one or two of you lovely flyladies who have been through this, and I was crying for all those in this situation, yesterday.

On a more positive note I have been sorting, scrubbing, washing, ironing etc etc! I find I have to keep busy if I'm upset, and today I've shopped and cleaned for sick friend, been to docs, and got us some nice goodies with the shopping.

On a MSE note, we've sourced a different household insurance and will be saving a couple of hundred pounds a year! :money:

Well, the 'beeper' has beeped in the cooker, tea ready!

And I nearly forgot - I've just read about the poor kitten. How awful for the little sweetie. Anyone who reads my posts will know I love cats. A special, gentle kitty hug winging its way. My little Maisie, pictured here, died a year ago this month, but she was a good age, although that is still no consolation, I miss her every day.

Good wishes and positive health vibes to everyone, and let's hope everyone gets a bit of good news this weekend. (Congratulations to the new auntie, too!!) R x

    One last quick post!

MrsM, I hope your DS is soon on the mend, what a rotten time he's having.

Deckogecko, I hope your cold has soon gone. Mine went after five days this time, but aren't they miserable?

Bossymoo, I love reading your posts. I'm now imagining all those little ones swimming for gold in ranks up and down the pool!! Have a good weekend with your dear DS and DD. R x

Oh I forgot to say, had a good news call from my boss this morning, they are paying a bonus for last year! Hurrah! I'll get mine later this month and it will almost pay for our holiday :T so we had another look tonight at some pics online of the pirate ship in the kiddy pool :D

I am actually getting a tiny pay rise too, as reward for my "positive contribution". About 12p a month I think :rotfl: still, better than a pay cut, which I know lots have struggled with...

    evening all

MrsG our pore kitty, I hope he recovers soon.

Just going to do the last bit of washing up. Was falling asleep reading to DS3 and need to pick DS2 up at 10:30 from work.

Tomorrow I have to do something about tidying up the dining room!

Congratulations to your little Star of the Week, mummyyof5 :)

Sorry to hear about kitty mrsgibbs and your DS mrs-mp :( Hope they both feel better soon.

Well done at work, bossymoo :D I'm glad you aren't a pushy parent - they were the bane of my life when I was a teacher, many moons ago.

Lucky Mary, paying a return visit to LW!

Thanks for the reminder about booking, Rowan. We tend to forget Mother's Day until it actually happens, being of an age where we are both the oldest in our families, and with all my children living some distance away.

I shall have to get up early tomorrow and S&S everywhere because the EA is bringing someone to view the house while we're out  Will go and make our packed lunch now, before I forget...

Hope everyone has a good weekend.
