Morning all. I laid in bed till 8 which is really late for me. DH is working all weekend, I will have DD and DS here tonight but really my time is my own mostly so these are my plans in no particular order:

Cook lamb (we're having mother's day roast tonight)
Make cheesecake (when DH brings ingredients home)
Make up spare bed for DS
Put garden border in (subject to weather and sleet if forecast)
    Hoover downstairs
    Walk dogs (all three! yay)
    Pop to PO and baker
Practise hairstyles with DD ahead of her interview on Tuesday (posi vibes welcome for this please)

I will pop back later with an update. Have a great day everyone.

Well it's quiet on here today.

I've been to the shops and done the following:

    Cook lamb (in the oven)
Make up spare bed for DS
    Hoover downstairs

It's pouring with rain so outdoor tasks are on hold. Going to enjoy a few minutes peace and quiet reading the local rag.

Local rag read, failed at both Sudoku puzzles, feeling a bit lonely on this forum today! Have also got washing in machine and emptied all the bins.

Now I've made meringues, had lunch, read another paper and magazine, and managed to complete two Sudokus. Am I really the only one posting here today or is there something wrong with my pc refresh?
Spend less now, work less later.

I'm on, between doing surveys and sorting out photos. And feeling thoroughly sloth like with all the frantic flying that other people seem to be doing!

Office really cold, so think a HH whiz round the kitchen would be a good plan next.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Hi all

    LR, kitchen, hallway vacuumed
    Fridge cleaned
    Kettle descaled
    Water filter changed
Cat bedding washed and on the line
    WM on for a clean

RT always nice to 'meet' a fellow cat lover - I'd be lost without mine.

Will update later, need to clear the ironing basket and change bedding.

Hi Deckogecko, I'd be lost too! The cats here get all the best food and throws, cushions etc, as I'm sure yours do! OH will say 'that chicken breast, those prawns and so on, look good, then carry on to say 'I bet they're for the cats' and he's generally right!

And guess what, I've washed all their bedding too, today. I love to hear other people love their pets, too. I hate cruelty, especially to animals.

Hiya Jayzee and Lamewolf, I'm here! Got up early, fed the cats, birds and us, then S&S round, and a quick tidy, rounded up all the cats' bedding and got it in the wash, then showered, and off to spend more money on the cats, this time flea and worming potions from the vet. Did a quick visit to H@me B@rgains for some wild bird food, then a little top up shop at T@sco's, then home for a yummy lunch of leek & potato soup with ham hock. Yum yum! NB. Seeing how busy T@sco's was, the whole world is there, that's why it's quiet on here!!

Having a chill-out weekend, after a mixed week, especially as it's raining here. Going to read, play games and watch some films and generally flop!

Good wishes to everyone and I hope you all have a peaceful weekend. R x
