Still raining here. I sorted out my craft box earlier but didn't feel inspired to actually make anything. DH is home now with all the shopping so I've made the cheesecakes for later, and I've entered some competitions. Now getting ready for the invasion by DD and DS.Spend less now, work less later.0

Afternoon all
Have been sorting and cleaning the LR all day with help from DS3. Still abit to do, why is the last bit always the hardest?
DS1&2 have stripped their beds and will need to remake
I've changed most of the mog beds and done the ironing too.
So much more to do in other rooms but this will hopefully give me the boost to carry on. I'd like to have done every room by Easter. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi everyone  It is very quiet on here today, not even gotten onto page 14 yet.
No flying done here ALL WEEK!!!! Working like a ninja at the mo and too tired when I get in to motivate myself. OH is home most days and generally makes an effort, but he's been in the barn all week "crafting" for a show he and DD have gone to today in Dumfries.
DS had an Away footie match this early this morning so it was up and out sharpish, brekkie at McD's, footie, then we went to the leisure centre for a swim, did the shopping and had a bit of lunch and have only just arrived in. Quality time for everyone here. We've now shut the curtains and DS has made a lovely roaring fire so will go and do a HH whilst the lounge warms up.
Anyone want to join me - in fact, I'll keep going until 6pm and see if I fancy doing more.

I'm here, although haven't for long, as mum called when we were at football offering lunch, so we didn't get back till 4
I've got a wash on, emptied dw and done the kitchen. Dry clothes are upstairs and DS still needs to put his train track away.
Just having a cuppa, then dunk the tots as we won't have time for baths tomorrow. We're going to The Deep at Hull! Will wave on my way past I think to pigpen and anyone else along the M62Bossymoo

I still haven't flown as such, but, having taken DD to the docs Thurs morning because she is having trouble sleeping it transpired (for he gave her a URL to read up on the issue and wouldn't prescribe) the only thing we hadn't tried was a new mattress. Upshot is she now has a 'foam' one
so we have flung the mattress she was using. It must have been 17 years old; it was on the bed we bought for DS when he moved out of the cot...unfiortunately it isn't the only one which needs replacing but I'll get there. She slept better last night, anyway. Hopefully a new sleep habit will be formed. Along with the PMA I am drilling in (my mum used to say I could sleep on a penny hang!)
Anyway we're having tapas tonight (HM) albondigas this week; as well as a tortilla.
What I have done though is washed, and dried, and ironed. So the Valli Clan will leave the house looking smart & clean;)
Oh! Went to town this morning. Took the blouse back (was £39) which I discovered had a mis-sewn seam. was offered a significant discount (half price). Went in for the kill and got £24 back (on a gift card due to the fact that I didn't initially buy it; but bought it new of a colleague who needed a smaller size). I've been watching Secret Shopper;).
And Republic agreed to take back the unwante dinterent purchase nad allow me to choose anything else in the shop. Well, I'm too old for their stuff really so was envisaging having to let DD have the benefit of that one when I spotted one of her friends - who was about to spend the exact same amount. Upshot is she gave me the cash and still got her goods!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I was on a course today so no flying done by me, but Lodger 3 moved out 24 hours earlier than expected which is fine, so Lodger 2 could move back into his room. The upshot of all that was that by the time I arrived home, OH had stripped a bed, washed the bedding and all our whites, hung it all out and moved L2 back downstairs and I have my office back.
He's a keeper, that OH of mine. I'm going to wrap him around a pizza, salad and a bottle of red tonight to thank him.Better is good enough.0 -

Our other handsome fella is Gizmo who's been worried silly yet is now sulking as T is obviously getting more love (so not true!)

Evening all,
I still haven't read the thread this week; sorry if I've missed any important events! I have noticed that mrsgibbs' cat has been through it though! Sounds awful, poor thing.... I hope he makes a full and quick recovery
I did manage to get more flying done this week than I thought I had... it seems that some things have become such a routine part of my day that I don't even realise how much I have done!
Looking around the house I realise that:LR is straight and tidyThere is a lot of more to be done, such as dusting, mopping and cleaning windows, but realising that I have been keeping up with the basics without really thinking too much about it has cheered me up
bathroom and kitchen are clean
Bedrooms are tidy and bedding is fresh
one load of washing hanging in the laundry room drying
one load of lights to go on tomorrow in the morning
Meal plan has been shopped for and followed
AND.....
I did some of my assignment!
Hope everyone else is ok, I'll try to keep up with the thread and post more too...
Cake x0
