Aw she's a cutie. Might 'borrow' her next time I see her;)

    Hola Senoritas!

DD and I have made albondigas (Spanish meatballs in special tomato sauce) and an EXCELLENT tortilla from her Tapas book - best tortilla I have ever tasted, though I says it as shouldn't. last time the pototoes were too thickly sliced (though sliced as per recipe) thinner slices have worked much better. Also I might fry in batches next time...

Kitchen, however, looks like Pamplona probably does the day after...

Went to Funeral Director's and saved £75 on the quoted price. She was very patient and answered all my sister's pernickety questions very thoroughly (or so I thought at the time). This lady is lovely, I have dealt with her on too many occasions (6 burial plots, and two full blown funerals, too many chapel of rest visits to quantify and introduction to a family friend for another funeral aswell), where as my sister has only met her twice. So we have settled up all in full, which means no more price increases to worry about or borrowing money at stupid % APR at some point in the future.

Got back to my childhood home, and started to sort out what we can each have after leaving a "contigency pot". All done surprisingly quickly, and divided my Dad's DVD collection as Mum never watched them. Got a phone call from the EX requesting my Daisy facilities as Skint Baby had consumed all the frozen milk that I had left with him, so I parted pleasantly and left thinking the Great American Bullfrogs had been thoroughly chomped and digested.

EX went to work leaving Skint Baby with EX MIL, and to say Holly was pleased to see me was an understatement. After a 3 hour milk bender she was full up and ready for transport :) After the week I had, there was a emergency de-clutter, so I ended up having to fly round EX MIL bathroom before I could think about going home.

Left at 10pm, to have my sister ring me 5 minutes later on the handsfree disputing what the FD had done and could she have FD mobile number :eek::eek: I have had it for sometime in case someone passed at home. So I told her "NO :mad::mad::mad:" and not to ring their 24hr number either, to forget about it, leave it til Wednesday so the FD gets a chance to send the proper typed up fully itemised invoice, which I will scrutinise before any phone calls are made.

So there was no sleep again last night til 6am, but no real flying either :(:(:(

DD3 has helped out here quite a bit in the last 24 hours for a cash incentive, although some of it has been done with a pre-occupation on the cash (she didn't clear the floor in her room and sucked up a ribbon and snapped the fan belt:mad: ) WM x4 TD x 4, DW x 2

I have properly cleaned bathroom, ensuite and downstair cloak, and hoovered my room again but it has taken nearly all afternoon.

My steam mop is back and working. So tomorrow assuming I get some sleep overnight, I will give the kitchen a bit of elbow grease then mop all the hard floors up and downstairs.

Then when EX is with kids, I will get myself along to Minor Injuries to get my arm re-dressed again, then double check everyone Dr's, hospital and dentist appointments for the rest of the month, so I know where I am going and when ;)

Roll on Monday and the new thread, and I will make a real effort to get back onto the basics everyday:o - the same day, even if nothing else gets done :eek::eek::eek:

Right time for a cuppa and a jolly good lurk

    Aww mummy what a sweetie!

We are back to civilisation here, and the kiddies are clean and in bed. DD even let me swush her with the hair dryer :) they are very excited about their day out tomorrow, so it took a while to settle them, both singing "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, once I caught a fish alive" as I was coming downstairs :D

Need to get our clothes out and ready, and get a bag together. I've put the buggy by the door so I don't forget it (will probably end up carrying bags but never mind) and I've started getting some bits of fruit together for snack.

But I want some supper first! Off I go!

    Hi all

Well the ironing basket is still full :o

But I have made home made pizza for dinner and because I had the oven on I made twinks.

The result was the kitchen needed more than an S&S and there was washing up to be done. So all done and now having a cuppa.

I have a question - I brought some Mr T basics disinfectant, reading the label it says that it can be used in WM to wash linens - has anyone tried this? Did it stain your clothing (the disinfectant is green) I was thinking of using it on my cream coloured bedding but am hesitant.

    Thank you in advance

Not in mog family best books as they have been front lined to go with their clean beds

Been sitting playing cards with DS3 in the lovely clean LR. Fire a light, just making a cuppa to go with it.

Managed to get loads done today :) Kitchen is cleaned, properly too, not just a wipe over. Set my oven timer and had it done in my 15 min :D;) Laundry is all up to date (including ironing!!!) windows washed inside. Will try outside this incoming week if it's dry!

Had my hair treat, glad I didn't pay for it as the hairdresser listened to how I part my hair and then proceeded to dry it in the opposite parting  DSD bought me the voucher and I used it even though I don't use that hairdressers anymore. Just proved why I left them ages ago!!

Haven't managed to wash floors downstars yet, will do that Monday. Dog hasn't learned to wipe paws :)

Hope you all have a lovely Mothers day tomorrow, I'm taking my Mum out for lunch. Will check in on the thread when I'm up and about tho :D
