    Good afternoon :)

I still haven't caught up with reading the thread but, after feeling somewhat lacking in energy and enthusiasm for most of this week, I thought I shouldn't really spend too long reading all the weeks posts; sending warm positive vibes to all :)

So far today I have done the following:
    HHE - School cycle
    S&S kitchen
    S&S bathroom
    DW loaded, run and emptied
Beds changed - striped and re-made
    WM loaded, run and emptied
    Floors swept downstairs
Banana cake made and sampled :D
Orange and hazel nut flap jacks made and sampled too :o:D

    Still need to:
    Dust and hoover through
    Mop kitchen/diner
    Post a letter
    STUDY!
Have a look at the lists on here to see if there's anything else I can get done over the next couple of days....

I had a quick read of the news on the BBC website too; it's International Womens Day and I thought I'd share this quote...
"You are the only person who can make your unique contribution. Your authenticity is your strength, be you." - Nancy Pelosi (the first woman to serve as Speaker of the US House of Representatives)
Have a good Friday everyone, Cake x :)

    so we still don't know.

Anyway today the weather is grotty! We have that very fine rain and it's horrible! But, according to Martin, today is my 50th birthday - which is fine by me!

Sorry you haven't heard about job; it's horrid hanging about without knowing.

Weather grotty here, rain and grey.
Happy birthday. Hey if staying on this site means you get younger, I'll certainly hang around! Have a great day.

DH is home again. All the paperwork has been completed, and it sounds as if the cakes did not last long once his mates got their hands on them ;) He is taking me out for a meal tonight to celebrate the end of one chapter of his life and the start of the next :)

ETA: we have just realised that the road to the pub restaurant in the village just a mile from our house is closed this week - which would entail a 10-mile detour  so instead we are going out for lunch on Sunday to our favourite floating eastern restaurant which we only visit on special occasions :D

Hopeless flyer this week, don't know where the time has gone (well, some of it goes by when I sit around reading various postings........).
Have started on study de-clutter but needs some serious time.
Have kept up with surveys this week (that should be low priority considering what else needs doing, but hey ho).
Have resumed sorting out photobook from last year's hol; yes I know it was a "must finish" from last year :o but sloth is my middle name. Super special deal on Snapfish until Sunday, so that is my target.
Have done a bit of miscellaneous tidying around the house and wm done. Pretty pathetic really. One more coffee then spring into action.

HH whatever anyone? Will have to be with coffee in hand.

IK&A trip was inspiring - always makes me want to come home and declutter shame I find driving there and back and walking round so tiring.

    Cleaned the kitchen sink
    Washed the towels
    Stripped our bed

Think I'll do a HHC then sort out dinner, DS2 will need taking to work too.
