Got to go do some paid stuff this morning, leaving early to get it done and then back as still have a poorly sick child..

It'll be nice to return to a fairly clean home though, will be much less stressful not having to come back to a list of "things to do" as a lot has already been done! :T

    Morning all,

Just checking in briefly; feeling better this morning after a good nights sleep. So far just up and dressed and nice big bowl of porridge eaten. Off to do school cycle shortly and then I'll logon properly and look at the lists to see what I've done and what can be done.

Grey and foggy here yuck! :(

    Back later x

    Morning all

    Grey and foggy here.

DS3 still has sore heels so I need to get him up and in the shower to assess if he can go to school, DS2 is going to be disappointed if we have to cancel IK&A.

Flying, going to clean kitchen sink and shower room then put WM on.

Well yesterday was a bit strange - OH had been told that they would be told about redundancies, then they released the annual results and said that there would be no news on redundancies yesterday... ( but that doesn't mean they can't tell them today?)

    so we still don't know.

The Daily Mail seems to think a load of redundancies are imminent as the jobs are going to be outsourced to India.

Anyway today the weather is grotty! We have that very fine rain and it's horrible! But, according to Martin, today is my 50th birthday - which is fine by me! ( I was born in 1962 and my profile on here does show that, but apparently i'm 50!) I'm going to work, then taking DD2 to the dentist, then shopping at M&S - we're having some of their Chinese for tea. I'm having a day off from not drinking in Lent and I shall be chilling this evening..

    Happy Birthday CY.

Well I've done what I planned to so in an effort to put paid stuff off a bit longer, I'm going to make some plum crumbles for the freezer as the plums really need to be used up!
