Went into town and spent the last of my book voucher. Plus had a voucher for £5 off. They were also reduced. So book purchases very MSE. Caught up with DD when I got back. Quite sniffly and a sore throat. Hope it disappears soon.

Afternoon, or should that be evening, everyone
Well was up at a reasonable time and was actually showered and dressed too. I even made an effort to dry my hair..well half dry it..lol
Put a hot bedding wash on and then gave the downstairs a hoover. I did think a friend was coming round for lunch as I had sent her a text and she replied by saying she would be with me at certain time.. So I made lunch and popped it in the fridge ready for when she arrived.
I then got on with my ironing pile, which I hacked away at and I am now left with about 10 items to iron.Really pleased with myself.
Anyway lunchtime came and suffice to say friend did not turn up as agreed, she only lives 10 doors up my close. She could have texted to say she was busy.. You know I really don't know why I bother with this friend. I keep giving her the benefit of the doubt..and still she does this time and time again. I think I am going to stop inviting her round for coffee if she can't be bothered to turn up. I'll still be chatty and text her but no invites now. Still it'll save on bread and coffee..lol
Sorry for rant, I just get so riled up over this sort of thing, especially as she keeps doing it.
Still it meant I could get on with my ironing, then I settled down in the chair and watched a couple of hours of taped NCIS. And I couldn't move because my cat Olly - who's normally not cuddly at all, decided he would settle down on my lap for a good 2 hours or
so
Dinner is in the oven cooking away, just a chicken casserole as I cant be bothered to cook something that involves peeling veg.

Excellent.:T:T:T *High Five*
Yep, I was bathed and dressed by 07:00 - I have no choice when Mr LW is going to the office, as he leaves at 07:30. When he's wfh, I have to wait til it's a convenient time for him, as he has to start the early morning checks (making sure all the systems are running, sorting out the ones that aren't) at 06:00, and that takes a couple of hours.
My big problem is that getting bathed and dressed knocks the stuffing out of me, and I end up flaked out on the sofa for a couple of hours - this is something I need to knock on the head, as I'm sure it's contributing to me not sleeping at night.
.
I need to have someone in the house when I have a bath or shower. It drains all my energy too.
While DH has been home I have stayed upstairs longer as he sits and watches sports news. He went back to work yesterday after 4 months off with the BD. I now HAVE to get up earlier and it is quite difficult. I need a kick to get me up in the mornings and doing things.
I have started to shower in the evening and have a wash in the mornings. Not ideal but it doesn't matter too much.
Today I started sorting paperwork and still haven't done level one of anythingAnd I watched TV this afternoon whilst home alone
One good thing achieved is I started the process of transferring ownership off Mum's burial plot to me.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
