Hope your DH gets good news today, CY. Whatever happens to him, his firm's loss will clearly be B&Q's gain!

    ^^^And from me^^^.

    Happy birthday to Dusty's DS1.

I'm working today as DS3 is seeing a paediatric consultant for the results of his last MRI scan. He is totally recovered now but we want to get on the system as I'm sure it will flare up again.

Saw Les Mis last night on Orange 241 at the cinema with a friend1. I haven't enjoyed a film that much for years.

Flying will be a quick s/s of the kitchen and to put the ironing away. I'm taking cake ingredients to work to make DH's cake for tomorrow.

Catch up with you all later.

Positive vibes for your DH cy :)

LW are you up yet, I'm just about to jump in the shower. Have done half an hour on my cross stitch piece, and have also done 15 mins tidying around. Am going to put the hoover round and then tackle some ironing afterwards.

Happy Birthday Dragon, hope you have a good day :)

Ooh CY is he hoping to go then? Much luck!

Well I have got to grips with downstairs, and relocated the various cups and bowls that were hiding upstairs. Have emptied and reloaded DW, done a wash, moved toys inc scalextrix into playroom, hoovered all downstairs including under sofas, collected dry and sorted into ironing / put away piles and relocated latter back upstairs.
Kitchen is all wiped down, tea has been decluttered, JWs come to educate me on my relationship with Jesus () have been dispatched, and the kids have been fed a snack.
    Phew.

We are at a friends for lunch and play shortly, so no more flying till later, although at least we can't make a mess. Poor DS is so excited he's had his "suitcase" packed since 9am with his tiger, a toy hair dryer, two cars and his "phone" :D bless him it's only 10min drive away, and we're only going for a couple of hours.

    Will tackle upstairs after dinner...

    Have a good day.

Lack of flying recently is really showing. I've cleaned the bathroom and wiped the upstairs window ledges.

WM just finished so swop that over in a minute and wash up then I should have time for hoovering an mopping before lunch and a trip to the paid stuff.

    Dragon Happy Birthday

Good luck to any fly kids getting results today, DS2 just has an economics one to come in at lunchtime. He just got news that work bonus is 17% so will be very happy.

    Hi Everyone

Just popping in to say :hello: flying has kind of taken a back seat just now, decorating has been a nightmare, when painter was painting walls, the paint was blowing up into a bubble so there was a lot of scraping back, re-plastering, sanding & re- painting. So you can imagine the dust! DH & I done the feature wall, painted with stripes at the weekend, its looking good but again the plaster was coming off as I was peeling off masking tape so a bit stressful!! I will do what I can from the lists, have to wait 2 weeks until DH gets paid again to get the rest of my items required to finish LR off, totally changed my colours so a lot of stuff will need to be sold! Hope you are all well, not had a chance to read back through the thread. I have crossed off anything that is impossible or N/A. Still have paint tins pictures strewn between hallway & kitchen.

My sink has white emulsion splashes which are not shifting, any ideas on how to get rid??

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Basic Flying
    Wipe down all worktops,
Clear and wipe down dining room table.
    Deep Cleaning
Clean kitchen cupboard doors, don't forget kickboards.
Wipe and shine kitchen sink, don't forget the taps and the gunky area at the bottom of the taps - I want you to see your faces in those shiney taps
Clean kitchen window making it sparkle,
    Decluttering
HHC - put on some lively music and have a bop around while doing this.
Clear out any cupboards that are getting overfilled with gibble, rehome if possible if not bin!

Tuesday - Living Room, stairs, landing and hallway
    Basic Flying
Vacuum floor, remember to pick up anything that doesn't belong here.
    Dust, even if around everything.

Wednesday - Bathroom and Study/PC Area

    Thursday - Bedrooms, childrens.
    Basic Flying
Remove bedinen and wash, replace with fresh - there's nothing nicer than going to bed with fresh smelling clean bedding
Vacuum floor in bedrooms, remove anything that doesn't belong there.
    Deep Cleaning
    Dust surfaces
Clean windows and windowsills. Rehome anything that shouldn't be on there.
    Shine any glasslike mirrors etc...
    Wipe light switches and handles.
    Decluttering
Choose one drawer and clear any clutter from. Can anything be ebay-ed, taken to the charity shop or recycled?
