Ooh CY is he hoping to go then? Much luck!
Well I have got to grips with downstairs, and relocated the various cups and bowls that were hiding upstairs. Have emptied and reloaded DW, done a wash, moved toys inc scalextrix into playroom, hoovered all downstairs including under sofas, collected dry and sorted into ironing / put away piles and relocated latter back upstairs.
Kitchen is all wiped down, tea has been decluttered, JWs come to educate me on my relationship with Jesus () have been dispatched, and the kids have been fed a snack.
Phew.
We are at a friends for lunch and play shortly, so no more flying till later, although at least we can't make a mess. Poor DS is so excited he's had his "suitcase" packed since 9am with his tiger, a toy hair dryer, two cars and his "phone"bless him it's only 10min drive away, and we're only going for a couple of hours.
Will tackle upstairs after dinner...
Have a good day.
This has been ongoing for the last 10 years..... I don't think he knows if he wants to go..... he will have been there 25 years in October....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

I am going to try following Tuesday's plan as I have been out every day this week and I don't have enough spoons to fly and go out.
The living room looks the most neglected so I am going to start here.
Tuesday - Living Room, stairs, landing and hallway
Basic Flying
Vacuum floor, remember to pick up anything that doesn't belong here.
Dust, even if around everything.
15 minutes hotspot
Deep Cleaning
Wipe all electricals, light switches, light bulbs and anything else that is shiney
Tidy up coats, shoes, umbrellas and bags - rehome if not needed downstairs.
Wipe sticky marks from walls and paintwork
Wash any smelly throws, cushions/covers even dog toys if needed.
Decluttering
Get a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be. You could delegate and give everyone their own misplaced things to deal with
Phone a friend or loved one, catch up on the gossip or just to tell them you care xx
Check where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc
Sort through any magazines or paperwork lying around. Any that you don't want/need maybe you could give to the Dr's or Dentists near you.
Declutter those pesky spider webs, they are making an appearance now the weather is turning warmer!
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Mopping done! DS3 asked this morning if I ever cleaned the kitchen floor anymore, it had rained in the night so was covered in muddy paw prints.
Lunch next then I'll get ready for the paid stuff and see if DS1 wants a birthday lunch before I go.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Not doing too bad this morning SS in kitchen and have even spent an hour with youngest doing Maths & English worksheets! :T He's off school till Monday so hoping this nasty flu will have bugged off by then.
Thursday - Bedrooms, can be master, guest or childrens. You choose!!
Basic Flying
[STRIKE]Vacuum floor in bedrooms, remove anything that doesn't belong there.[/STRIKE]
Deep Cleaning
Dust surfaces
Clean windows and windowsills. Rehome anything that shouldn't be on there.
Shine any glasslike mirrors etc...
Wipe light switches and handles.
Decluttering
[STRIKE]Choose one drawer and clear any clutter from. Can anything be ebay-ed, taken to the charity shop or recycled?[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear one hotspot even if it's just for 15 minutes[/STRIKE] 27 bin bag boogie, grab a bag and clear that clutter
Gone through youngest's bookcase and removed about 100 books that are too young/not wanted & added to my car boot box.
Off to scrub eldest son's window as the mould is not good, using white vinegar & tea tree as bleach effects his asthma.
Will update any progress later as trying not to overdo things x"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇0 -
LW you are truly a star - you have a deal.LW are you up yet, I'm just about to jump in the shower. Have done half an hour on my cross stitch piece, and have also done 15 mins tidying around. Am going to put the hoover round and then tackle some ironing afterwards.
My big problem is that getting bathed and dressed knocks the stuffing out of me, and I end up flaked out on the sofa for a couple of hours - this is something I need to knock on the head, as I'm sure it's contributing to me not sleeping at night.
Anyways.... pizza dough is made ready for tonight, and I need to tackle the bedroom today, so that's next .
Oops, better have some lunch first (nearly forgot).
Hoppy Birdday Dragon:beer:
CY I've only just seen your post, hope all is well for your DH.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon, got my arm re-dressed last night, DD3 got her extraction done, dealt with a froggy phone call from my sister.
Have to and get my arm dressed again tomorrow, and have been told its going to take 3 weeks to heal up, not the good news I was hoping for. coupled with advice to avoid the sun on my face and arm for 12 months minimum, means stocking up on factor 50
The house is rapidly descending into Skint Pitz, and I am guilty of creating quite a few hotspots :eek::eek:
The DW is now on, my replacement Steam Mop has arrived. Cheque has arrived so must go to bank with that later. Just trying to settle Skint Baby so I can set myself a quiet HH declutter before I have to get DS.
A quick cuppa while in Daisy mode and I will see about getting startedThe cold never bothered me anyway0
