Reduced bargains and yellow stickers shopping

I went into my local supermarket last night for baked beans. They had their healthy living 4 pack for 36p. Needless to say I bought more than my intended 2 cans!
I noticed that there was a yellow label on the shelf with '36p * REDUCED TO CLEAR'. This reminded me of a few weeks back when I got chocolate for about the same 75% discount and I remembered the *. So I had a little wander and found another couple of items at the 75% discount and others at 50%
It became easier to spot the * sticker amongst the 3-for-2 and smaller reductions. Thought some of you may be interested in doing the same in your supermarket, my one begins with T! I'm rarely lucky with the fresh goods yellow stickers as I'm not there at the right time, but this is more likely for me and maybe some of you.
I would be really interested to know of any other yellow shelf labels like this you find/have found and if it's the same in other stores?January grocery challenge £0/£300

I popped into a local Spar last night as the weather was so bad and I was waiting for a lift. Didn't expect much tbh, but got some decent reductions.

Pack of peppers 45p
Green cabbage 45p
Diced beef £1.50
Sirloin steak £3
Pack of chapattis 50p

Not amazing prices but it turned out well as I couldn't get to the supermarket as roads were closed due to fallen trees.0 -

I went into Asda on the way back from hairdressers and was amazed to see them dropping the prices low at around 5pm. I got around £15 worth of meat, fish and vegetarian pies for about £3. There were a lot of ready meals, hams, etc. and plenty for everyone. I didn't see a single reduced vegetable and no bakery products whatsoever. My freezer is thankfully a Tardis and gratefully gobbles up whatever I buy - just!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

It's a case of being in the right place at the right time, if you hit the shops at the right time, you could bag yourself some real good bargains. Just be prepared for the vultures pushing and shoving.0
