Boyf went to a newly opened sainsbos earlier today and came back with a good selection:
chicken thighs and legs- 99p (split into 2 packs for freezer)
Pork medallions- £2.04 (split into two for freezer again)
Rolled pork belly joint- £1.50
Beef joint- under £5 ( :O He won't buy this again, that's 5 weeks worth if milk! lol!)
Smoked mackerel- £1.04
Bacon- £1 (split into 3 packs)
Lamb cutlets - £2.29
So some bargains (we never get stuff under £1 round here) and a few pricier bits but he did good with the haul and freezer now back to being over crammed!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

In Mr T yesterday afternoon we managed to get:
2 duck breasts £1.50
2 x chicken tikka masal breasts £1 each
3 x Packs finest sausages 82p each
2 x saag aloo 32p each
Pork medalions £.120
2 pack fresh salmon £1.20
Finest Quiche 82p
A few finest ready meals 80p ish. Not usually a fan of these but they looked good quality and will be handy when I am at home and want something quick as I'm knee deep in revision.
Freezer is not full to busrting so no YS shopping for us for a while!0 -
I've had a few bargains of late, but not looking too much at the moment.
ASDA - 3 packs of lean mince (500g) for £1.25 each (supposed to be £4 or 2 for £7). They had loads and will do for spag bol, cottage pies etc.
Morries - pack of 3 Bell's Scotch pies (50% extra free) for 19p (6p'ish each).
Morries - instore bakery - pack of 2 x pork pies for 39p.
Morries - Salmon and cucumber sandwich for 19p.
Morries - pack of 4 hot cross buns for 9p per pack (froze and ok for toasting)

At Mr T last week I got 18 packets of the 2 plain chicken breasts. They were reduced to £1.20 each but then I got the 3 for £10 discount on top! Cost me £9.40 for 36 chicken breasts...I love my extra freezer in the garage!0

Was like feeding time at the zoo in Morrisons last Sunday, was ridiculous. I just felt sorry for the poor girl trying to put the stuff out, they were like wolves ripping them out of her hand.0

Not very often that I get anything at Mr A but tonight I got 2 bags of parsnips 9p, bag of peeled carrots 5p, Hawkes Bay New Zealand mature cheddar 53p so not too bad and it will be parsnip soup for tea tomorrow :T0
