I've had some good offers of late and freezers getting full again!!
For a spend of 89p tonight in Morries, I bought (using the term loosly):
4 x twin packs of pork and onion pate @ 15p each
1 x Oyko youghurts @ 15p
1 x cooks bacon pieces (great for ministrone) @ 5p
1 x Copella cloudy lemonade @ 9p
All in the freezer for another day and the pate will do for pate on toast (toasted pate under the grill).

Well done - our Tesco does have some decent reductions around 4pm . I'm not a lucky reductions person though I've had my moments. Monday's was a £2.50 chicken from £4.50 ish, it was a little one that roasted within an hour.
I spotted something slightly odd. I bought 2kg of bananas in separate bags of a kilo for 30p. A good buy.
However both bags were put through on my Tesco receipt as being for just under half the amount in weight at the full price of 68p a kilo.
I have no idea why, though it seems that they are trying to 'hide' the revenue lost to reductions for some reason.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Actually got to the reduction shelf at just the right time yesterday:
-£13.42 Pork leg joint reduced to £1.34
-£2 samosas reduced to 20p
-2 £2.50 finest mash packs 36p each
-£2 Ham hock gratin pack 20p
- £2.25 Satsumas 34p
And even better there was no pushing or shoving at all - just one other person who was only interested in the ready mealsRoadkill Rebels December - £2.49
Roadkill Rebels November - £1.740 -
I don't normally find any reductions but popped into my local Co-op this morning and found 4 packs of chicken thighs and drumsticks for £1.25, weight was 1.019kgs. One pack of them are now in our slow cooker and will be eaten for tea tonight :j0

Different in different supermarkets ( even within the same chain ) - but gererally a couple of hours before closing or around 7pm for a 24hour store. You realy have to do your own research on the stores in your area0 -
