A quick question. So one leaves 2500 in the bank and just puts in 1000 every month. In other words for one day the total briefly goes up to 3500.
Doesn't have to be £3500 for a whole day. You can xfer £1000 in and out again within minutesIt must come from an external (ie non Nationwide) account though.

How long is it taking for people to get the card reader machine, as mine still hasn't come, and typically no one in the house has one?
I used to have one from another company but think that was lost during a house move and as the account has since been closed never bothered to get a replacement.MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -

I'm still waiting for mine too.0 -
Same here. Got 4 of them in the end. Filled them all up with 2.5K each. Today I see that £7.77 (£9.71 - tax) has been added to all of them.
How much did you get?0 -

Mine took about 3 weeks in the end. When I rang to enquire why it was taking so long, the conclusion was that it had gone astray. So the guy talked me through where to order one again. So go to the main page and on the left hand side you see the big sign for LOG IN.
Click on it, takes you through to a new page. Still on the left hand side near the top there is a list which says "RELATED SERVICES".
The last item on the list is "order a new card reader". This is what I did. About a week later, it arrived and then about a week after that the original one turned up, so now I have two.0 -

Thanks for the reply will give it to Thursday or Friday and if no sign then will order a new one. Hopefully will get it before the end of April though so can transfer the £1k in and out for April funding!MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
Got my interest just now. £7.25 gross but I was a couple of days slow investing.
I'd be interested to see if the people who opened multi accounts did get the 5% on all accounts?0 -

I'll be honest I didn't think they'd pay it. Better get my applications in sharpish (4 of these will take my current account holding to 20...this is getting a bit ridiculous now! In years gone by I'd have had just one savings account and a couple of current accounts.)0 -

Cheers for the nudge - am normally pretty good at checking!
Good news for those that took the plunge. I guess the T&Cs mean they could stop this at any point though but until that point its tremendous.0
