do you care about the people you send to?
price isnt everything.
eg. when I sell on ebay I send everything special delivery even when they pay for just recorded.
That's bonkers. Presuming you sell things that are under the £46 compo amount (soon to be £20). And who says the people you send to are happy that you send by Special Delivery?! If they're not in it means a trip to the sorting office and that you've inconvenienced them!0 -

I'm just in awe that someone can make enough profit to fund that out of their own pocket.
Currently special delivery for a reasonably sized parcel of say 700g is £7.55 but if that was sent 2nd class it would be only £2.20.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm not sure if the full range of current postal services will be available for print-your-own via eBay/ Paypal, since Standard Parcels has already disappeared from the postal services menu when listing an item for sale.A pink on the power seller board (a rare thing nowadays) has confirmed that postage bought online from RM and printed before midnight on Monday will be accepted for postage on Tuesday.
I assume that he also means via eBay/PayPal. That means we can technically use the existing postage rates even though the post offices will not be open on Monday.0 -
It's also disappeared from recently completed listings and the order details/ invoice pages for items I'd listed with SP postage are defaulting to "free postage" collection in person!0

There is a glitch that I get that shows all listings as being free postage, and it isn't until you look at the actual postage paid that you see the postage cost in the correct box.
The free postage on collection is a work round that powersellers are trying out to retain TRS status and discounts. It will become common to see free postage- and a collection option as well as the rest of the options as TRS sellers try and work out what looks best and how to retain their siacoutns.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Do they know it says that free collection won't be counted as the free option for TRS?
I think many have realised that, but there is a slight air of desperation in some who are hoping to retain the discounts.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
