yes indeedyNext week our simplified parcel service range goes live for consumers and small businesses that use the Post Office or franking machines.

Our updated range has three tiers, making it easier for customers to understand their options and improve their choice.
1. Guaranteed – timed, next day delivery
2. Confirmed – includes proof of delivery
3. Standard – great value delivery
As customer needs change and features such as compensation, proof of delivery and access to a full range of services become more important, our updated range will help them choose the right service for their needs.
Commenting on the updates, Luisa Fulci, Regulated products director said: ‘The updates we are introducing will meet all of our customers’ small and medium parcel needs, whether they are sending parcels to make money or just to make someone happy.’
We are re-launching Recorded Signed For as Royal Mail Signed For as part of the changes. Confirmation of delivery is particularly important for customers selling on ebay and Amazon for example, because it gives them seller protection. From April customers will be able to check that we have accepted and delivered their item on our new mobile website0 -

A pink on the power seller board (a rare thing nowadays) has confirmed that postage bought online from RM and printed before midnight on Monday will be accepted for postage on Tuesday.
I assume that he also means via eBay/PayPal. That means we can technically use the existing postage rates even though the post offices will not be open on Monday.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. That may well be the case but I wonder if the Post Offices have been told! Could add to the misery come Tuesday.

Surprisingly, no change in the rate for regular or large letter stamps.
If you use Royal mail for parcels, probably time to start looking for a courier. Luckily I have a myHermes drop off point nearby!

I'm so glad someone is making silly money and can pay for such an expensive service from their profits.
I offer and send by 2 nd class and from next Tuesday will also be offering MyHermes as a cheaper option.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
