I did take the 12 months free and £200 credit and left a month later when my FTTC was abled on my cabinet.

Did you have to pay a termination fee to O2/Sky for cancelling early and if so how much for 11 months?

Been on 02 legacy for ages . Always been very reluctant to move the landline away from BT but the latest BT line rental increase and the fact that I use Primus and other cheap day callers , means I hardly ever use the land line anyway and more of the cheaper BB deals are bundled. I'd only need BT if I had a fault.
Question is this: I think a move from Sky (if I took up any of their current offers) would later cost to go back to BT, but If moved now say to PlusNet BB bundled with their Landline, is there always a charge , if after say a year I wanted change BB ISP again and needed a BT line, to revert the Landline back to BT?

The land line does not 'move' its the same line which is maintained by BT Openreach whichever supplier you use.
BT don't let third parties in their exchanges.

I know it doesn't move in that sense! Don't you understand a figure of speech for changing a provider?
I already said I'd likely only need BT if I had a fault as they would be responsible for that eventually whatever the provider.
You didn't actually address my question. Do BT always charge when you want to revert back to them or just sometimes (due to LLU) ? If so , what os their charge?
IE Move your landline back to them after being with another provider such as PlusNet or even for example Sky, Primus, etc?

EDITED TO ADD: I found some info here. But while a brand new line may be £130, not clear what BT would actually charge for reverting back to then from a LLU provider such as SKY.

IIRC If you return to donor from an LLU service i.e. BT and sign up for a minimum contract period its free.

I too have done it. requested my MAC code today. They answered phone "Sky" ! Said I'd get the code by email, should take 24 hrs, so I hope I don't have any problems getting it. I was told by Sky not to use the MAC for 7 days. Does anyone know why they say that ? I'm not in contract. I've signed up to PN on their unlimited plan.

7 days since changing...connection is solid...generally 5.5-6.2mb download...so happy with that. Upload still slower at 0.6mb. Oh well...don't upload too often!

I told the PN guy about not using the MAC for 7 days. He said he'd never heard of it and that if they try billing me for £15, I should contest it. I wonder if its anything to do with them wanting a 7 day notice period.
