Still receiving these texts (out of contract). Slightly confused if Sky are now 'in charge'?

Hello
Just wondering, has anybody received the £100 M&S vouchers from O2? If so, how long did you have to wait for them?
In my case, I signed up a new contract around 3 weeks ago and vouchers have not been received yet.

I asked O2 this question and they said yes I would still have to top up phone and the prices will be going up.0 -

Because the same terms apply, whether out of minimum term or not. You will still get the mobile discount until such time as Sky change the T&C's.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

No, Sky will have to honour the existing contracts until the end of your minimum term. Which will take all of those who accepted the 12m free broadband well into 2014. There is no indication that they will remove the mobile discount universally at the time of the network transition. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
No, you can leave when you want and not owe anything, has you are in a free contract.
That remains to be tested. The contract is not 'free', it's chargeable and you then receive a discount that effectively cancels out the charge. If you were to cancel within the new 12m minimum term they could in theory charge an ETC. Though in practice I rather doubt it.
And in reality, why would anyone leave while receiving a free service, unless the quality were to deteriorate? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Phoned o2 and they advise that only the first batch of customers will be switched to SKY in the Autumn of this year and it will take 12 to 18 months for the whole process to be completed. I have my landline with BT (12 months in advance) and a deal on Anytime Calling Plan, so will not be anxious to switch landline to SKY.
Has anyone switched to another BB provider and got a better deal than the £4.75 per month ?"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -
Just signed up with plusnet prior to the end of the half price offer with cash back with top cash back and was feeling good until I found a letter lost in a pile of post from BT :eek::eek:.
BT offering me a special invite as an o2 customer. Deal is BT infinity 2 for £11.10 for 18 mths and the minimum contract for line rental is only 12 mths. Just tried to check canx policy on Plusnet but their site is down for maintenance.
When I had called BT over the weekend they would only give me the deals on their website no matter how I haggled and were indifferent to me leaving them and taking my line rental else where.0
