If you 'just' (how many days is that?) signed up then you'll be within the cooling off period with PN. Not really BT's fault if you don't open your post...No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Has anyone else noticed any 'issues' with their broadband since sky took over?
I know it's coincidental, etc, but my O2 broadband was pretty near faultless. The only issues I've had were occasional slowness, but not stopping etc.
Since I got my letter last week saying Sky now have the broadband, I've experienced occasional full stoppages, and some serious slowdowns.
I know it's not feasible that all of a sudden it goes wrong, but...it's going wrong.
Anyone else noticed anything? The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -

Sky's own welcome letter explains that, although they have technically taken over the broadband, they haven't actually transferred anything and won't start to do for another 6 months.0 -

Had a letter from Sky this morning.
if Sky are coughing up £200m for 500,000 custs that's £400 each. How are they to make any ££££ ?0 -
By trying very hard to flog those additional customers their subscription TV services as well.
The average Sky TV subscriber spends well over £500 pa.
02 were quite happy to run the service at no profit, or even at a loss, for 2 or 3 years, just to build market share. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Has anyone had any problems with their direct debits since being granted free broadband? First month I was invoiced for full amount so had to contact O2 who adjusted it in time for the direct debit coming out, but this month the full amount has come out so again I've had to contact them and now they say the discount will be applied to next month's bill. Is this going to happen every month?0

Tbf, it may simply be due to increased traffic or similar, but my service has become patchy all of a sudden.
And I've noticed a new thread on BE/Sky and slowdown issues next door to this.
I don't find the idea credible myself, and I used to work in IT, and I am aware that things do go off. But just asking. The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0
