Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! Part 3

Hi all, hows everyone doing? Not much to report from me, the midwife is coming on Tuesday to do my pregnancy notes then I have my scan the Tuesday after. Fingers crossed everything is ok! I haven't really had morning sickness, but I've definitely been feeling tired and OH says I've been moodier!
On the hair dye thing, I read that no one knows how it affects the baby, or if it does at all. The amount of chemicals absorbed through the scalp is quite small - otherwise it wouldn't be safe to dye your hair in the first place. I ended up dying mine last week anyway, I just made sure I didn't leave it on too long.

Hi ladies and gent, hope you are all well?
Kscarlet, definitely worth contacting your gp or epu, they might not do a scan so early as its not always very reassuring but should do two blood tests around 48 hours apart to make sure your hcg levels are rising nicely, this is normally a really good sign.
Tooold, cramps are a really normal part oc early pregnancy so don't let your worry head run away with itself.
I went to visit my granny in hospital tonight (she is very poorly) and ended up fainting! Youngest patient on the elderly care ward-I felt like such a numpty! They always make it too hot on hospital wards but it's never happened to me before!
Hope you're having a happy Easter, I am no longer friends with easter eggs though, silly sickness!

Hi all. Off to my best friends daughters christening in a bit. Both me and DH are becoming her godparents. All so exciting we spend so much time with them anyway and off on holiday in a couple of months with them and their 2 other children so it won't change anything. But feel really honoured

Thanks all for your kind words. There isn't a local EPU unfort I think I'm going to phone tomorrow/Tues to see if I can be checked. No further bleeding thankfully although I don't seem to be having many symptoms (boobs are only slightly tender/not feeling sick at all and my stomach feels fairly normal) I did poas yesterday to make sure I still was pregnant but I don't think that will tell me much (bfp still)

Kscarlet - other than needing the loo during the night, I had no symptoms at all until 5 1/2 weeks. Defo give them a call tomorrow/tues to help put your mind at rest.

Hiya, I've not been saying much as was feeling really negative, but today, I have a more positive head on.

I'm still bleeding, but have started to get some pregnancy symptoms - unable to drive properly - this happened with both my pregnancies before, so sure that's a good sign :cool: and I've started getting a bit constipated. Sorry if tmi, but also got the dreaded piles back Never had them until about 7/8 months in last preg & omg, couldn't believe how painful they were. Could hardly walk :eek: Will make sure I get that seen to before it gets any worse.

I have my next scan a week tomorrow, but seems ages away. Also got through my appointment for 12 week scan, think it's 16/5/13, due to my negative thoughts, I just shoved it in the drawer thinking I wouldn't need it. However, I am much happier again, and quietly confident everything is ok :j
