Hi credit crunch. I'm still the same - literally starving but can't face whatever is put in front of me. I have to think about what I think I can stomach and am usually ok with keeping some of that down. X

    Hi all
I'm only around 4 weeks & only found out on Saturday.
Over the last few days my appetite has disappeared. I have hunger pains then when I sit down to eat I can only manage a few mouthfuls!

    Is this normal?

Hi credit crunch, nice to see another ni-er! Its completely normal to lose your appetite but be really hungry. I went off so many things and never knew what I wanted to eat! Nothing to worry about at all :-)

I have been like this too. I'm eating little & often - although when I want to eat, it needs to be done quick! Carrying a cereal bar at all times as this seems to satisfy.
TTC40 ive got another scan on tuesday when I should be 9+5 will be soooooo glad to know if its all ok as never got this far before gulp xx

Hope all is well. This is the first time I've ever been pg so I suppose I am lucky I don't have sad milestones to compare to. Let's hope this is the forever one for us all.

Congrats on being able to eat and for hearing the heartbeat! I had my scan today and it was amazing to see little bean floating around and waving. Has dated me at 12 weeks exactly so I'll be lurking between boards for a little while. Good luck to you all and hope to see you on the next :)

    Congrats!

AFM - still constipated. Went to Boots again (went last week). Different pharmacist who said I could take Lactulose so I bought some. It's a behind the counter medicine. She said I could also get it free on prescription - I can't be bothered trying to get a GP appt to save £6! If I was having an appt anyway, I would ask for it though. She also said I could use glycerine suppositories. Let's see if things get easier ....

It's confirmed- positive pregnancy test by the doctors :) I've been booked in the midwife in a little less than a fortnight for my 8 week appointment.

Well I'm 11 weeks today and huge by the evening but no bump in the morning, just shows how much gas occurs through the day :rotfl:

Thanks for the pic - I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and I like to send these little images to OH to show him what bubs is looking like! He thinks it's all a bit freaky at the mo :rotfl::o

I am exactly the same as you - flat/normal tum in the morning, looks like I've got a football up my top by evening!

Had a bit of a bad night - threw up at 3am! OH woke up and asked 'does this count as morning sickness?' cos so far I've only had evening / nighttime sickness :rotfl:

PS - love the cute pug in your pic!

That's Dave :D He's a lot chunkier now, just loved the photo so can't change it :D

Luckily my sickness has naffed off, even if I don't eat much. I'm still craving savory food though. Which doesn't help as all we have is chocolate from Easter in the house :rotfl: Might get DH to get me something tonight on his way home :)

I've come up in spots everywhere though :( Face, Neck, Shoulders, Tummy :( Not nice. Feel like I'm a teenager again :(

Great news about heartbeats and scans :)

More bleeding here yesterday *sigh*. I can cope with spotting, but this was the second time I've had full on red blood. Enough that I've had to use pads. Phoned up the MW office yesterday morning and she said to go to A&E to be referred to EPU. Again. So sat in A&E for hours only to be told that the EPU is too busy and if I'm going to have a miscarriage then there is nothing that they can do. Thanks. I know that, but a bit of sympathy wouldn't go amiss! Anyway the Dr said he would pass on my details to the EPU for them to phone me. They did phone this morning to say that they would pass my details on to the scan dept who had a few free slots today. That was at 9am and of course I haven't heard anything. I'm 11+1 today and 12 week scan is a week today. I'm really tempted to go for a private scan for reassurance. Oh, it's so hard!!

Hope everyone else is having a better day

Big hugs miffy- might be worth giving them another ring and checking they haven't lost you? Has the bleeding settled down for you now?
Thinking of you and hope all is ok.

I have been having a major worry today about work (new business), money (changing bank accts and no idea where money is coming from next) and family (my granny is in hospital very poorly) combined with pregnancy hormones I've got myself in a bit of a tiz. I've got a thousand and one things to do and a horrible headache - think I'm going to sneak out in the sunshine for 15 mins and hope that helps it.
