  • wangdoodle I think it's quite common for symptoms to disappear, mine do sometimes, then the nausea comes back and I wish it would disappear again. I think I've mentioned before I have a friend at over 20 weeks who has had no symptoms at all.

I'm shattered all the time now, so I'm off to bed, will be so glad when it's weekend!
  • So so sorry to hear of your sad news LJ9982 and Adrenalina. You're both in my thoughts.
    Congratulations and welcome lilmissmup.
Wangdoodle, I know how you feel. Maybe things are just settling down for you. Isn't it any time now that the placenta starts to 'kick in'?
    Love to all. X
  • Thanks for the reassurance ladies. This is just suck an unknown for me and I am a bit of a worrier.

I think you're right about the placenta claretsgirl I'm hoping that's why I feel "normal" again.

Pregnancy is such a variable thing, isn't it? My sister just had her 20 week scan. All fine for her and she hasn't had symptoms this time either.

You should take comfort in that.

It seems to me most women seem to take after their mums and siblings in terms of pregnancy symptoms.

My friends mum had 5 kids - no symptoms. She's pregnant now and no symptoms either.

My mum was really sick, so was I. So I knew last year when my sickness went something wasn't right. This time I was really ill until 21 weeks!

So if your sister has been ok chances are so will you! So try not to worry although I know that's impossible! :)
  • Congratulations lilmissmup.

Well I'm 6 weeks 3 days today by my calculations. Is it normal to get cramping? It's not constant but sometimes in the groin sort if area? I've had to start wearing non wired bras as my boobs are so sore.

Sounds stupid but still can't believe I'm actually pregnant.
  • i'm so very sorry for you Adrenalina. Do take very good care of yourself. *hugs*

AFM I'm a bit worried because my symptoms seem to have disappeared on me. I'm stupidly wishing I could feel sick again :o

Hi Wangdoodle... my nausia also disapeared. I'm taking a while getting used to not feeling sick at the idea of eating! I had a warm bath monday night and felt better, and have felt better since then. I'm still tired, but dont fear falling asleep on the park bench anymore! I'm torn, as i do need to eat as i've been loosing weight, but it's weird, and i can't help but worry myself :o

lilmissmup Congratulations and welcome to the thread! I'd go anyway if i were you, and say that you miscarried before and now have a BFP. But then i'm a cautious person and went to the drs myself straight away.

Hi disney, i had some cramps between weeks 4 - 7, and still sometimes get them. mine were about an inch below my belly button and 2 inches to the left mainly, but sometimes on the right. the were mainly when i stood up quickly, and sometimes had me doubled over in pain for a moment. midwife said they were implantation pains / my uterus practicing stretching.

(I hope you all don't mind me saying this... i kind of need to voice it to get it off my chest..)

But thats the problem isnt it, some pains are expected, some level isn't; some spotting/bleeding is 'common', some isn't; some symptoms going is common, sometimes it's a bad sign. i can't help but worry myself. though there's no point worrying since there is nothing anyone can do this early. so we just need to stay hopeful and calm - well that's what my husband says! sorry :o

Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I'm ok (well as ok as I can be). Finally miscarried physically last night after having the tablets at the hospital. I blacked out when I passed 'baby' and was sick whilst unconscious :( so scary. Thankfully DH and my sister were there and am much 'better' today xx

Can I join you please, I got my positive on Tuesday (then another one yesterdday :P) feeling rough as anything today and so sleepy. New to all this, as this will be my first (if it sticks, I'm a bit scared as got a positive just over 12 months ago, but then almost as quick as it came it was gone again :( )
So how do I actually figure out how many weeks pregnant I am? My last period started 6.11.13 so from what I've read I think that makes me 5+2, can someone tell me if I'm right?
Sorry for all the questions but to be honest I feel totally clueless
    xxxx

Thank you for the update LJ I'm glad your DH and sister are there to support you, big hugs x

That sounds about right lizzie_b congratulations x

Hugs for feeling worried Lara, I hope your scan goes well, I think a lot of us seem to be here after losses and its totally terrifying x

I don't know about anyone else but I can't stop knicker twitching to make sure all seems to be OK, this is the longest I've been pg without things going wrong so trying to think positively.

I had my staff xmas do today and came home early so nobody could comment on the fact I wasn't drinking (not a huge drinker anyway) it turns out it was a good plan anyway as all that rich food was a really bad idea. Ive felt queazy for a few days but this is the first time I've been sick. Is it wrong to feel happy about feeling so carp?

    hugs to all x
